Welcome to the family little daughter ❤️
thumbs up for the "oh snap"
+ISA
👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorite part about your videos is the progression aspect. How you show planting, and 3 weeks later, and 3 weeks after that, etc etc. Nice work.
Hollis, I spit coffee out of my mouth laughing when you did the whole "oh snap!" thing!
LOL 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I am a total novice gardener so I've learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you.
+Chrys Howard
Thank you so much for watching Chrys! We all learn from each other 👍👍
Just wanted you to know that because of you...I was inspired. And I am, for the first time at 52 years old, going to try my hand at my first “real garden” this year. Over the last few years..I have trialed and erred in several above ground pots. And the best lesson I have learned so far is...you can not cut corners, time or energy when it comes to gardening.
So...wish us luck! 👩🏻🌾🧑🏻🌾 (I say us because my husband, bless his heart, is doing all the heavy lifting for me.)
You can do this. All that trial and error created a magnificent green thumb as long as you don’t give up. Keep up the good work. Best of luck to you with your garden this spring ❤️
Good for you Brenda! Love the process!!
I love the cross in your garden!Glory Be to God!!!
Amen. We built a much larger cross at our new homestead. Here is a link if you want to see it❤️

Short and easy to understand. Your all videos are the best on CZcams when it comes to providing information for growing eatables. Thank you Sir.
Glad it was helpful!
😂😂😂Lol when Hollis snapped! You go man!! So absolutely love and appreciate your informative videos! I've learned so much and my dad, Hollis is very proud! God bless and love to all!
That snap made my day
LOL
This is my first year with a full-blown Garden. I've made some mistakes but I'm learning a lot. And I'm eager to learn and grow. I just found this Channel today, but it is such a blessing! And I love that you love Jesus :-) I love Jesus too! Preach him loud and proud :-) :-) I look forward to all the wisdom I will be gleaning from this channel. Thank you! :-)
The “oh snap” alone gets a like. Awesome video.
Thanks for sharing this video. I'm not planting a large garden. I am putting in six bean plants just a small row of love. Thanks for all you do.
Your videos and positive attitude are encouraging. Keep up the great work.
And that Bass Pro advertising should get you a new fishing pole for every 1,000 views. Just my 2 cents 😉
+Tim Cotter
Thank you very much Tim. We appreciate your encouraging words more than you know. Have a blessed day sir.👍
+Tim Cotter
LOL

Thanks for watching Bill. God bless you for Sharing with others. One of the biggest benefits of gardening is seeing someone's face when you give them a bag of homegrown vegetables ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Peace to you Bill😇
Thank you for making videos that show the progress over weeks so i can compare how mine are doing. I should see blossoms this week on mine and that brings me so much joy! 😊
Your garden looks amazing... It looks like God has blessed you greatly.. So happy for you... I'm trying gardening to relax me . Trying carrots for the first time... Wish me luck... blessings
Love when people use good old common sense. Look for those lil weeds coming up and soil is warm enough you can plant. That's what the good God gives us brains for. :)
Exactly!
Love the scripture verses at the end of your videos. Appropriate that you give God all the glory for the bounty he gives you.
+kats mama
The scriptures are our favorite part of the videos😇
Love your video! You have a fantastic garden and are taking full advantage of your space in the city. BLessings to you.

Nice looking string beans ( what we call then in Maine). Have your wife try this boil some new potatoes then some beans drain well add evoo and garlic saute to heat thru and get some good crusty bread to sop up the deliciousness.Don't be stingy with the oil or garlic
+marc sene

You all make this old country boy giddy more than ever about the garden. God bless and happy growing...and keep the videos coming!!!!!!
My family has a similar blessing: We thank Thee Father, that Thou dost give our daily food that we might live. Amen. My grandparents raised their children to say this blessing at every meal, and the children were our parents, so all 20 grandchildren grew up saying that blessing.
+Lee Ann Steinmetz
Love it.🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful Garden!! My husband and I are just beginning our homestead journey this year🙏🙏

A great tip on watching for the weeds to just start emerging to be sure the ground is warm enough. May the Lord bless you both.
Thanks, you too!
Love this dude
Thank you and God Bless you.
I finally retired and Im very excited about this year. Those bush beans I love. When I tried once I was working at night and couldnt water early so the severe heat we had that year killed it and I didnt have time. I cant wait to try again.
Welcome to the good life of retirement 👍
Thanks for the video. I’ll be planting some in the morn’.
I made my previous comment before I saw the ending of the video. What a beautiful, precious couple you are!! May God bless you richly my brother and sister-) ❤️
😀U GUYS ARE THE BEST😀 I'M TRULY INSPIRED. THANKS FOR SHARING.MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS U.
I have missed you guys! I am gonna plant some bush beans today. Feels late in the season but we would still have time for a fall harvest. I like how you film in segments so I get to see you plant something, see it a little later and sometimes harvest! Instant video gratification! I love your channel.
+Mary Stewart
Thank you Mary!! We like to do the progression videos as much as we can. Most people like to see the entire life cycle of the plants before they try to grow them for themselves. Thank you so much for watching👍👍
Thank you for your wonderful advice on growing beans. I'll let you know how my crop does. Thanks again, PJ Lee
Best of luck to you with your beans this year. Don’t fertilize them!!!

You make it look so very easy.
+Pine Meadows Hobby Farm A Modern Homestead
It is easy! Anyone can do this👍👍. Thanks for watching! Have a peaceful week ❤️❤️🐶
I enjoy watching your videos very much! In this video, I especially liked your method of planting beans: dibble, collapse, and pat. Very intelligent time saving tip and the depressions from collapsing the holes allows water to collect around the seed. Thanks, for making these videos about your gardening endeavors, hope to see more!
+Kenneth Gourley
Exactly right👍. Thank you so much for watching Kenneth. Have a peaceful week
Binge watching again 😁

+Elizabeth Miles
You are very welcome 👍
Great video.
Thank you so much for watching 👍
hey great video with the fact beans are legumes you can plant them alongside other vegetables like your tomatoes and once you harvest them you cut them at soils surfice and the root will rapidly decompose and the nitrogen will end up in the soil to feed your other plants. one more thing you can actually plant them every 3 to 4 inches apart and they will shade the ground keeping it cooler during the summer months.
+Raymond Aten
Thanks for watching 👍

Need some help please......I live in SW Oklahoma and I'm growing Kentucky Pole Green Beans in 5-gallon buckets. Some of the stems have made the flower but then just stopped. The plants are tall but just not really making any beans! We have had some storms that have been hard on my buckets but I thought maybe you could give some advice as to how to get them to keep making the bloom and eventually beans! I LOVE all of your videos! I have 20 buckets with Okra, Green Beans, Potatoes and Corn on the Cob! You're videos are very helpful and I love that you praise God and give him the glory for your garden and harvest! Thanks in advance for any advice!
Tyfs❤👏🏾😁
I was wondering if you side dresses them at all? Thanks!💖
Quick simple question. I will be growing snap beans next Spring in May 2022 (Ohio) You mentioned the plants get about a 18" diameter. I assume spacing the seeds about 9" apart?
I have 3 raised garden boxes. For the snao beans I will have a 11' X 4' area, so I making a plans on how much plants I should be able to grow. Tanks in advance for your reply
i just subscribed. you got me with "O Snap" lolol
\
Welcome to the family ❤️❤️🐶
Lol right!
Looks like your holes are about 10" apart? Plants grow up to 18" wide? My experience is that they will tolerate being a bit crowded as long as they get water and fertilizer. You agree. Really REALLY appreciate your videoes - they are great! Thank you.
I enjoyed you video. I wanted to see how you prepared you soil for planting. Do you add anything to the soil prior to final tilling? I plant Blue Lake Green Beans (bush variety) and they are awesome. Great producers.
During the winter I till in leaves and green vegetable matter and let it sit through the winter (see our video on how to winterize your garden). Come spring, all I have to do for Beans is till the soil and sow my seed. Don’t add any fertilizer as that will cause excessive leaf growth with no flowering That’s about as easy as it gets👍😇
I have just found your channel and love all your videos I have watched so far. I can only hope to grow my vegetables half as good as yours. Absolutely beautiful garden and I love your techniques. My question is how do you water? By hand or sprinkler? Thanks for all your videos!
Welcome to the family ❤️❤️🐶. I have an in ground irrigation system for the earth garden. I hand water all the containers 👍
Hollis & Nancy's Homestead thanks! I've thought about doing that.
