Same. Have been driving this since February and this car is hands down the best value for money there is in the C segment. It is a cheap BMW (and that's not a bad thing). If you get the V variant you won't be disappointed.

In Pakistan we are getting it with old engine in RS model. With only 2 airbags.
The mid model has 127 hp from same engine.

- There is no dual zone aircond control
- There is no double detection of blind spot instead of using lanewatch with left side only yet camera quality is not clear
- Now using half digital meter but remove temperature engine meter.
- Why there is still no rear cross traffic alert and no parking camera system
The dual zone ac control depends on the model you have. I have an EXi trim and I have it.

This car is shit.
My Touring model in canada has duel zone air, blind spot sensor both sides, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats aswell front. 2 usb ports in rearseats, air bags in rear. Bose sound system. Parking sensors, wireless charger in front and full digital display in my dashboard
Just the simple engine temperature would be very nice to have.

Civic FC looks better than Civic FE. Civic FC looks sporty and beautiful more than Civic FE. Civic FE front look like Audi, rear tailights like Vios, interior also not very nice.

I have the 2008 model, I'm holding on till I can hold on no more even though I will be getting a Honda Civic next. I really wish they kept the curvy futuristic look of the 2008 model, the new design is ok but it's more sporty than futuristic.
Bought one back in 2018, good power, pick up but sold after few long journey trips..low seating position causing to suffer backache during long journey..hope the latest model ergonomics are better..

Call me emotional damage? Take a look then to see which one looks better. Even new Civic also downgrades spec from Civic Ketam from dual to single zone for automatic control and full digital meter with temp gauge to half analog digital meter without temp gauge.
Thank you for sharing you view. I like the car too. It is good to hear what people have to say from around our planet. From what I gather the Aussies don't really care for it. But they do not get any choices one model one engine take it or leave it. That would piss me off too. I ended up with the ( sport touring hatchback ) That's a month full. So far so good. It is the first CVT I have had and as long as it holds up I'm ok with it. If I have problems I will start spelling Honda, C R A P D A.

There needs to be a review on the 1.5 2,000 psi fuel pump direct injection system. Still complaints about oil dilution and spark plugs burning out. The 1.5 turbo is a lot more maintenance.
You have to see it in real life to appreciate it . I sat in my friends new civic , I’m jealous . It’s a nice car .
But just have to beware of quality and service center. Civic FE got lots of quality issues such as steering rack, wind noise, rattle noises, loose parts for some parts including rear aircond, door panel, ceiling parts and others, car body quality like plastic and others.

Not joking but serious. Even, didn’t talk about design between FC and FE in this comment section, there are also lots of people that FC looks better than FE, same can be said for other countries. FC looks sporty and beautiful and FE looks like uncle car and not beautiful. FE front like Audi, rear tailights like Vios but some said rear looks like Audi and interior also not very nice, so it is not about condemning and hatred too. It is facts and serious, not joke.

Waiting to compare Peugeot 308 with Mazda 3 for a while now....then got this "challenger has appeared" moment when I saw this FE, very attractive indeed.
Guess I'm with the Uncle gang, I prefer this over a FC, design-wise.

Been Honda owners for many decades now but Honda is only just catching up with its competitors. Pretty sure this Civic will attract some ex Honda owners back however Honda is still very conservative in their exterior designs. Interior design now on par with Mazda but still too busy. The closest to BMW and better many European interior is Mazda. This is why a long time Honda driver like me now switched to Mazda.

It doesn’t have a gearbox. The sound of the car changing gear is piped into the car.

under 150k nothing can beat civic FE except mazda 3 (but 2.0NA engine not juicy enough)

I hope the seat part is true, Current HRV and CRV seat's kill your lower back on longer drives and in traffic jams.
Something VW and Toyota seem to be much better at, which is weird as Pre 2010 Hondas especially 90's one's are renowned for their comfort.
The front seats are hard, hard enough to hurt your tailbone...
That's not been my experience. It has no lumbar support but still feels really comfortable sitting for long drives.

Hahaha while I absolutely love the improvements they made to the FE, it’s nowhere being “the most European Japanese car”. Mazda and Lexus are not dead yet okay. Features also hampeh compared to what both brands are offering. But design wise, a huge step up from the last gen definitely. Very classy.
My personal opinion, kinda disagree with how Honda is going more European in terms of design. I don't mind if they go European in terms of build quality and performance.

Japanese cars are more reliable no doubt. But sometimes the fitting and finishing, especially for the interior parts...
@@icefreezeball8249 The Japanese tends to be more pragmatic. The Conti cars would have more finesse but won't survive our heat. Agree. Build quality, I suppose the results are quite mixed nowadays.

It actually can.....not the ones from proton though....i owned fc from 2017 and saga from 2011......if u got used to timing ur cvt shifts and the boost kick in.....its actually a fun car....zip zip zac zac
Honda cvt also got issues. Jerking and also expensive than proton cvt like heard from some of honda owners complaining about honda cvt
@@juck2263 fc doesnt hv jerking issues as per my group......other honda might have it.However there was replacement for earlier batch due to mechanical problem but not jerking

You really have to try Mazda jinba-ittai to understand what am I trying to say. Don't be a blind Honda supporter that gets triggered whenever someone says something is better than honda.

Of course fe has long slung bonnet n comfort cruiser, it's a gt design car...it's like a ferrari roma, while the previous fc design mimics the racy pista with slightly forward cockpit n rear mid engine configuration~ this also translate fe as more classic sedan rather than futuristic sporty car~

For here, if civic fe specs is similar as civic fc, interior would already be nice but because of specs downgrade from civic fc, looks a bit outdated and doesn’t come with full digital meter and temperature gauge. Also now use back single auto zone aircond control from dual auto zone aircond control

To all who says Mazda 3 handles better, you're lying to yourself. Mazda 3 uses cheap torsion beam for it's rear suspension whereas Civic has always use double wishbone. The handling is world apart.

Honda in the 2000s had the very best designs and interiors. Since that time I feel like the company has been run by accountants and not engineers.
Interior is cheap quality with lots of hard plastics. Engines are uninspiring. Exterior design is not harmonious IMO.
Chery Omada 5 is better and beautiful than Civic. Technology also more advanced than outdated technology honda era. Also faster acceleration than Civic, though Omada 5 is SUV while Civic is just sedan

Test drove Mazda 3, FE, and own a Civic FC myselft I found that FE is definitely an upgrade to FC. In my opinion FE is on par or a bit better than Corolla Altis but Mazda 3 is in a league of its own. It is better in handling department and highspeed stability, better interior design with premium fit and finish and much more refined. Definitely will get the Mazda 3 for my next car.

I’m sure u have not tried the new infotainment system in civic fe. It is in fact much more refined as compared to fc. I’m a fc owner myself. You should try the new infotainment in fe. It will make u feel you want to fit it in fc

A quite distance to European car la. I own both and drive almost everyday. Go have a highway speed run and you can know what different of chassis.
