As many of you have requested I am doing a breakdown of a recent 3D animation I did for a video of mine. More specifically, we will be taking a look at how to create an overgrown look in Blender. This an be done to text or any object for that matter. It’s a lot simpler than it looks, especially when using amazing assets. As always, thank you for watching!

@@mapal thank you man, you rlly are a god sent. Keep it up!
The pacing of your videos is so good! I don't know why, but I learn a lot faster compared to other tutorials or courses. If you can make more tutorials on 3D, that would be great! Thank you for the awesome tutorials.
Aye thank you! Means a lot! I don’t know if I’ll do too many more 3D tutorials but I’ll never say never. Might still sprinkle them in every now and then haha
Man your content is SO GOOD
Your channel is a pure gem
What a great tutorial ! I wish you a very warm welcome to the Blender community.
Thank you! It's been super fun to learn and there is SO MUCH good info out there on forums, CZcams etc.

Dude, you're really a godsend on youtube, keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
you reading mind I was really hoping to teach us how do it , but it's in 3D with no after effect there's no way to explain it now I totally get it. Thanks a ton and really love you ❤✌
much needed tutorial.
consider this blender animation too that you used in video : How to animate maps like VOX
The time has come to install blender! Thanks for share✌️
Super useful AND FREE?!?!?! Starting to use it more in combination with Ae too. Fun process all around
@@mapal Definitely. The combination of 2D animations with 3D is another level🚀
Awesome 😮
Tnx for reading my comment and making video
Perfect!!
Yeah!!! .. I started Blender about a month back and I am loving it. I also feel like Blender is just at the cusp of breaking out as a software which more ubiquitously used especially after Grease Pencil and Geometry Nodes.
I love blender! The workflow is awesome. There is still a lot left for me to learn but I’m having fun so far!
goldmine channel
I'm f*cking in love with your channel bro. Unbelievable content! Thank you 🔥
Happy to hear that!
Thank you!!
nice tutorial.thanks, bro
You are welcome
bro nice that you make now blender tutorials! Can you show how you do this smooth camera animations maybe in the next tutorial? 👍🔥 keep going
Finallllyyyyyy 😍
FINALYYY
More blender tutorials please!
mapal next should be that 3d ballon pop text tutorial plzzzzz
loved it. But I am expecting more videos on after effects.
so sad. there's no CZcamsr like you in Korea. I'm not good at English, but I'm trying to understand it through Google translation. Thank you always.
Appreciate that! Maybe you’ll be the first
Finallyyyyyy🥰🥰🥰
i don’t ever want to use blender but i’m watch this video 😂
LOL appreciate it!
If skillshare is helping you learn stuff like this I'm signing up right now🤯
The root of the sauce fr
yo, you use this film burn with difference blending mode, is that an acidbite pack, if it is, which one?
Love your content man!
Yes it is from acidbite. It's part of the Ultimate 35mm package
Make more videos like this
Please make more blender tutorials
This week another one is coming broski!
I‘m not a bot but I love you
seen them in your video and wondered
Lol appreciate that!
now make a tutorial for blender + after effects for motion design
premiar pro bro
Thanks for this, have you ever dabbled in Unreal Engine?
I installed it and tried it for 2 minutes tops a good while back. I’ve seen some pretty cool environments being made there. Might be worth a look again
Can you make tutorial about crypto like vox or magnet media style? I'm in industry and always find the style like that but only people talk with camera not any style like I said. Thanks for the content
yea, this is hot
teehee
the tut was awesome except for the fill in the blank that you left with how to animate the object by adding that cool rotation, shesh
Thank you! Luckily figuring out the rotation is super simple. For the initial piece I just keyframed the rotation of the number itself. No fancy modifiers or any crazy easing. Just a simple rotation
@@mapal Thank you, figured it out at the end.
This was very unexpected for me. Guess Blender is really getting popular.
Always good to have a lot of different skillsets that you can combine
@@mapal Absolutely.
@@mapal I had one doubt though. I am still not sure what's the workflow to combine animations made in after effects in Premier Pro editing.
Hi Mapal! Any reason why you prefer blender over c4d? :) just out of curiosity
Free and a lot of free stuff for it out there too. Lowest barrier of entry.
Hello friends!!!What do you think, with such a rapid development of artificial intelligence, will the profession of motion designers be in demand?
next one..the helium balloons inflating. Please.
hey do you think mackbook pro m3 pro base model will be enough for 4k premiere editing and a lot of motion graphics in after effects !
I’d get as much ram as you can afford. Preferably 64gb or more. If you can’t afford that go with an M1 or M2 and then get more ram
@@mapal If I upgrade to that much ram Is more cheaper to go with m3 max with 34 gb ram
@martimc- get more. 64gb or more is what I’d recommend
@@mapal ok but will the m3 pro preform perfectly
soooo no animation ? just static render?
I animate the growth of the grass at 12:55 which is the premise of the tutorial. You can add whatever other animations to it you want. Like in the example I show at the beginning I just did a simple rotation animation.
oh nice, i will watch it again more carefully lol , THANKS MAN, amazing work btw @@mapal
watched the whole video even though i don't know bender lol
Hahah thank you!
What are the specs for your Mac?
M1 Max 64GB Ram 1TB storage
I dunno tot use blender. Is it hard to learn. Maybe u can do a video for beginners
It's not hard to learn if you attack it the right way. The way I learned was through Skillshare as I mention in the video. There is also a link in the description to get one month free so you can learn!
it's not as comlicated as it might look, try the donut tutorial by blender guru for a nice start
It may be quite intimidating at first, but you only need to learn the relevant stuff for the project you have in mind. There are a ton of wonderful tutorials (like this one) that can help you. Everyone starts as a beginner!
@@mapal thank you for the link as always great video. Can u do cartoon animation with blender. Like explainer cartoons and stuff?
can i pay someone to do this for me lol
Sure
You have been spending a lot of time in blender why u not teaching us😢
Want to make sure I know what I'm doing before sharing
scared of blender
It can be daunting at first but if you start slow and have fun with it, it helps it feel less scary
Oh god, did "skillshare" teach you about geometry nodes? Very bad example of how made it
