Pro tip: Always leave the clamps and mounting bolts loose until both mufflers are in place to allow for easy adjustments to get them symmetrically even on the length relative to the saddle bags. Otherwise you’ll be loosening and retightening one or both mufflers one or more times.

Which ones did you get? I bought the Chrome 4.5 megaphones. My neighbors hate me now. That model is loud even with baffles. It does my heart good to piss off my dopey asshat next-door neighbors. They were louder than I planned on going, but I absolutely LOVE them. I get a bunch of compliments on how mean the bike sounds now.

Not to worried about it. If I remember to cover it, good. If not oh well. People see it rolling down the road uncovered
3db is approximately twice as loud.

How ave they held up after 2 years? I am looking for a budget black exhaust.
These didn’t hold up well but they sent me another set that were ceramic coated that held up good for 5k miles then I switched to TABs.
With just slipons do you need to tune?
Not really but Harley runs lean from the factory so it would benefit from it.
How did the exhaust pipes hold up after 1 year? Did the color fade any ?
Color on the right pipe faded at the inlet. But other than that. Better than I expected

Unfortunately no but as a bonus my kids don't wake-up when I leave for work at night.
Are these slip ons non baffle
No these have a perforated free flow baffle.
