Had all my front end off and on today. Absolute bastard of a job getting those lights back in
Thanks for the video! Removed my headlights and after a week I could not quite remember how to reinstall them.
Love the side skirts and front bumper as well.
This is the video I was looking for. thank you
Nice video though pro tip for some mechanical parts like the entire headlamp it is called an assembly. So you've installed two new Headlamp assemblies!
Steven Sims thanks buddy, noted.
I see what you did there e92.. Video length 335..😏
Ivan Ivanov well spotted 👌🏻
I have to do this now, my fogged up headlight killed the ballast, and the housing is not longer waterproof. Question: do you have to do any coding after installing the new headlight, with a new ballast? Or is it just plug and play? Thanks guys, and thanks for the video. Will use it when I doing the job
bshagen I feel your pain mate this weekend I’m going to take my headlights back off my car and re-seal them, I keep having ballast issues due to water ingress, there will be a video coming soon once I’ve done it. And no you don’t have to code your lights after replacing a ballast.
Thanks for the quick reply! I am going to just replace the whole headlight housing along with the ballast and maybe the bulb if it didnt survive.
But I would love to see how you do a reseal, so that I can fix the broken one. You got one more sub now :D
Thank you sir, There is another video on my channel regarding condensation you might find helpful
Seen already, it was that video that had me realize that I was €1000 (8500 NOK) out of pocket - hahaha (actually crying)
The thing I was trying to emphasise in that video was even if your headlights are absolutely airtight they still will create condensation because it’s a really rubbish design.
Can you please do a video on how to change the ballast on the e92 m3 - thanks for the DIY videos!
S Malik the ballast is literally screwed to the bottom of the headlight with four screws, you do need to remove the headlight to get to them though mate.
A for effort, but it would be better if the video wasn't like watching The Blair Witch Project
Thats the easiest??
Im curious about most difficult 😂😂
Honestly brother, you shouldn't have opened with a shot of the car with the entire bumper and what appears to be 1000's of other parts removed. I see that and give up before I start. Perhaps a little "fluffing" before the money shot?
Ha ha brilliant
making me dizzy
fuking bmw you must to take off half of the car for one headlight
I thought he said the easiest way 😂
Absoute joke taking the headlight out.pitty it's not as straightforward as a volvo.
So the entire front bar does need to be removed, fuck this I’m selling my car instantly haha, soooo pointlessly frustrating for what should be a 2 minutes job!
Tetsuo Takahashi to remove the headlight unit yes, you can change bulbs through the wheelarch though.
Wasted my time. Not that instructive, or informative. There are several major gaps in information in this video!
Why the F have u got music in the background.
“Easiest” 🥴🥴🥴
Lol sorry ‘the only way’
@@carlubetv that’s more accurate haha
so basically you have to disassemble 1/4 of the car. im never buying a bmw again this is fucking ridiculous . two computers on each headlight and several hard to get to bulbs, zero information online anywhere for the correct fuses as there are 3 different revisions to the fuse box for this specific model of this generation.. and none are the same.. basically have to give $4k to bmw to get these headlights replaced.
