I really liked the moment when Bentley told Louise that maybe she didn't understand what George did. He may have needed help organizing his thoughts, but everything he said in the song came from him.
This show is still great. Can watch it over and over. Sherman has a good voice. Am I the only one who loves the outtro song as much as the intro to the series. We are taken to church by Janet Dubose moaning. I always wondering where that still shot of that pond or river was during the ending shot of the episodes.
A rich woman married for 30 years, that mink doesn’t mean as much as a poem from the heart, you can read over, and over again, and if your person passes, you have their words specifically for you forever
I agree with Louise a woman needs to be shown that she is loved and cherished and treasured just like the wife needs to be shown to her husband that he's treating everything but some people don't repeat or mean what their vowels say
And when you love something or someone really when you Love someone like in a marriage you cherish them you you show that love and respect but this damn time some people do and then their son that just don't give a care

I agree bout the brat part. ANY woman would’ve been very moved that a man took the effort to do that. U have many men out there that don’t do anything for their woman. George had his ways, but it was always for the good of his family. He never meant harm.
@@AscendedMaster274Exactly, many ppl don't understand sitcoms of those times as they followed more so the Biblical aspect of certain things concerning family, discipline etc whereas now society is more lost so ppl view these things as wrong wen it was actually the right way....like today many ppl would say Archie Bunker was toxic masculinity yet he was a real man that supported his family and was always right about how he saw people lol
Louise was being a jerk after the song…. She has to know he can’t play the piano and didn’t know how to organize the song… he did what anyone in his predicament would do.
I’m sure that it was hard for George to swallow his pride and ask for help but he did it and she was being jerk but in the end, she realized that George really loved her very much!
