      @MRCPCHforbeginners  Před 3 lety

      If you're applying for both Fop and TAS then 5/6months should be enough. Even while working. Considering you take atleast 6/7days for each system+ revision =5/6months for intense hardwork and you're good to go. And if only for FOP, I would say 3months are more than enough. Goodluck💜

      These are the books you must follow for FOP only. I have mentioned here illustrated textbook, Sop, clinical Cases fop and pastest. You need guidelines only for few topics so these should be enough for primary prep. After studying these you can go for recalls. I have just shared my opinion, you're free to follow whatever suits you dear.

    • @MRCPCHforbeginners
      @MRCPCHforbeginners  Před 2 lety

      The preparation is very individual depending on your own residual knowledge. 5months I would study only for FOP if you're a fresher. Don't go for both exams after studying 5months. You ll complete the portions in 5months, however I think give yourself time to process n relate to the topics more.
      Study atleast 4hrs! If you're aiming for 5months.

      I am not sure if pastest provides mock now.
      But I don't encourage anyone to go for pastest now. It may give you an idea but it's pattern is very different from what comes in exam now.
      The recalls are more than enough if you can study well with explanation.
      I don't find it very beneficial to be investing money on pastest for your prep.
