Jackie Wilson was the best of the 50's! I wore this record out. He was one of a kind in those days. This is my favorite of his tunes.

I always notice that you just seem to open your mouth and pour out the first notes without inhaling and preparing... just sitting so peaceful and then... sound. I find it so hard to remember to breath in and prepare early.

I used to try to sing Jackie Wilson songs when I was walking home from hanging out with my friends. I could never reach the operatic notes on

@@johnoneill7158 I could list quite a few songs that I grew up with, and love. Then comes a cover. It better be good. For sure it will be different. Even the original artist will do it differently every time they perform it. Only way it stays the same is if it's the same recording, and that's just a recording. Those in the room had a different experience when it was recorded, and that cannot be reproduced. I've heard Morgan and Doug cover several songs. They give them their own interpretation. Musicians do that. To me, they do a very good job. I'm always glad to watch and hear what they post. You're 76, I'm 67. So???
