I'm really disappointed we didn't get a glass blunderbuss, a literal glass cannon that shoots shards of glass.
I love that idea. Maybe even a glass canon that was repaired with Kintsugi.
I love it when a commenter has better idea, than what actually gets made.
I want a champion based on that tbh
-it be a 4 barreled blunderbuss
Not the buss
Porcelain Astilla
Hell, there's a *style* of porcelain making that'd be perfect for him too. Where you repair broken pottery with ribbons of gold. So instead of the Asture and Ostentatious gold accents of the line, it could represent *scars of battle* instead. But that'd require RIOT to give a character obvious flaws, and lord knows we can't let that happen...
Kitsugi
@@aria5614almost. Kintsugi, kin meaning gold.
the fucking street painter skin line got zero paint splash on them like???
Prestige kintsugi graves
Yup, I think it's suppose to represent how damage doesn't mean your useless but instead adds to the story that is you, like how a broken porcelain bowl that has been mended with gold and resin looks better then a normal porcelain bowl.
Given that Graves is an _outlaw,_ I think a more interesting concept would've been "someone using stolen Porcelain gear." And, yeah, have it chipped, broken, and dirty in places. Grunge it up a bit.
And what a story telling ut could, for him to steal a porcelain gear from another's dead body, he didn't kill him, but he's an opportunist burglar you know...
So doing that, he gets chosen by the porcelain spirit which is frickin Aurelion Sol, like master Ugway chose Po to be the dragon warrior like 'hey that' s a mistake and no one will actually accept that,' especially Graves himself, do you imagine the shame? Him, a hero? naaaah... but he in fact, is the hero he didn' t know he was and... Well maybe he encounters a trickster on his journey through forced heroism and maybe smooch him a little? Gods dammit Riot, it's handed on a silver plate, PLEASE.

I know I had said something about how it how the idea of cracked porcelain would be a good idea to show how one might not be so delicate with it, but for Graves, cracked porcelain could serve a different meaning. Why not have a guy who is seemingly not as careful and thus you always see him in cracked up porcelain? Not to make him evil, but because his motif is that he knows if he gets into a fight, he isn’t going to come out clean, therefore he doesn’t worry about going all out?
Graves is always a fun inclusion into a skin line since he can work well as a villain/anti-hero. But if he is another run of the mill do-gooder, he loses the trait that makes him an engaging character and is just another guy with a gun.
porcelain and gunpowder is such an interesting theme tbh
its always a joy hearing Hoyoverse's game osts in the background in some of these shorts
what song is this again? it isnt just the Inazuma fight music is it
@@dantevallieres794 It's Neverending Performance, the theme for Childe's phase one
@@NatharagonKoranys oh thats why i haven't heard it much lmao
Riot is allergic to imperfection. Which does feel ironic given its Riot.
THAT GENSHIN MUSIC GUT PUNCHED ME OMG
I KNEW IT SOUNDED FAMILIAR
I thought i was going insane bro 💀💀 glad it wasn't just me
childe 1st phase boss theme
"Do-gooder archeologist catboy" is not a phrase I expected to hear from TB Skyen
Graves strikes me as more of a stained porcelain sort of man. Like an heirloom ashtray or teapot that's seen a few too many uses. A few black or grey streaks around his shotgun's mouth and on his fingers to sell a 'heavy use' vibe, that sort of thing.
If you *HAVE* to make him as inoffensively prim as everyone else, at least play around with kintsugi (the art of repairing broken china/porcelain with gold so the cracks become part of the art rather than a thing to cover up)!
If I had made this skin, his gun would be shattered or chipped, and he would shoot out broken pieces of porcelain.
Or, if the budget allows it, the gun would shatter and reform when he uses Q or R.
you should make a series where u rank all the skins that got S-rank
I’m not a league fan so I don’t want to make any big sweeping opinions on the characters designs but I think it would’ve been cool if his porcelain design was based off Kintsugi where his armor and gun are made up of broken pottery rejoined with metal.
This doesn’t excuse the polished look Graves has here but every time he does look tidy, I like to think TF styled him. “You can’t go out looking like that, wear this instead” yada yada 😂
EDG Graves + Victorius Graves = Porcelain
Not playing with a kintsugi aesthetic with Graves for this skin is such a wasted opportunity 😢
yea like kintsugi was RIGHT THERE
Is that.... Genshin music I hear?
Tartaglia’s phase 1
"Never-Ending Performance" goes hard
Like most Genshin OST tbh
Completely unrelated to the video but I can't believe that Skyen used my favorite boss theme as background music for this short; _Never Ending Performance_
The only thing that I like about this skin is that you could argue that asol has resorted to spitting on people to show his contempt for them with the shotgun now
Graves with a reference to kintsugi (traditional Japanese ceramic restoration with urushi resin and gold/silver/platinum) would have been AMAZING to play on a rougher aspect while keeping the idea of the skin: something broken and repaired that became unique.
I really wish they did something for him with like Broken and repaired porcelain. Like veins of gold running through his one shoulder guard rather than just an outline
As soon as I heard the description of his personality I immediately imagined cracked porcelain armour. My disappointment was immeasurable when I looked at my screen
uniform requirement at this line
Give him some porcelain cigars
Sentinel Graves is such a goofy guy that commits crimes, but at the same time has a golden heart. Professor Graves is serious and violent in his recall, but still cares about his students, and his home guard animation is awesome! They could explore more of his personality in the skin like the two I mention, or if they just want filler, at least make our boy a husk daddy and add more fanservice u.u
I don't play League but goddamn, these skin analyses pop up on my feed and every time he's 100% right. The heck is riot doing??
Graves could do so many things to me
dilf...........dilf...
I might as well sub to you. I don't play league, but every time your short pops out....which is EVERY DAY, I watch it. I love artistry and lore of LoL.
Besides the wolf head gun It looks like temu victorious Graves
BANGER MUSIC
They should have made him the warrior uncle who's seen some s**t but hasn't let that jade him. The one who will just as equally seriously sit you down and tell you what you did wrong with your SO as he will be the one drinking and partying everyone under the table.
Would you imagine if his shotgun's cannon broke into pieces after shooting and regenerated immediately after? That would be dope I think.
I'm really annoyed that we got ANOTHER champion getting a skin with such a similar color scheme to Victorious lol
An armor set made out of broken/put back together porcelain would look so nice.
You can’t beat a dragon shotgun that’s true
Porcelain gun you say? I think a league character with a Glock might actually convince me to play
God this was such an opportunity for Kintsugi, it could have been SO good
imagine porcelain mordekaiser
tainted black 🖤
@@decidueyezealot8611 it would be so fire
It's just blue Graves with an ultimate gohan hairstyle
Hey Skyne, have you thought about reviewing the skins from SMITE?
He looks like a Disney villain
Hold on... this dude covers ff, and LoL??? Subbed
Hang on this reminds me. I’m surpised they havent made porcelain alistar. Bull and china shop
Aren't skins supposed to change champions?
Like rewrite their story and make them appeal to you in different ways. For example, I hate Ashe and her design disgusts me (especially the cape and quiver), but pay to buy project Ashe, cuz it gives me a new outlook on the champion.
Holy shit genshin impact battle theme as background music
Aphelios the black silence
Have you done a video on the best prestige skins?
And the skin doesn't even have to be a Legendary to stand out among its theme peers, like High Noon Twitch and Viktor
Damaged porcelain could have added so much to the skin. Just some cracks here and a chip or two there ya know?
You're surprised riot chose a corporate answer to an artist's question?
The outfit is legit too similar to the victorious skin
Hey try to make video about Mecha urgot skin plss
Kintsugi not being used in this skinline is such a wasted
Warframe has a Kintsugi themed skin: "Xaku Kagura", it would be a nice template for the Porcelain Line
Porcelain graves outfit kinda looks like a Yasuo chroma to me
His clothes is just the same as winterblessed and other similars.. but blue..
I am going to delete youtube if i hear one more review about porcelain skins, damn that a lot of porcelain
Knowing they release new skins every two weeks, creating a unique look for each character that gets involved in the upcoming set of skins takes more creative effort and time. Time that maybe the designers don't have. So that's why they stick with the dynamic, even if that means sacrifying the personality of the characters.
That said, I don't know how much time they really take to prepare a new batch of skins. So I could be wrong.
Engagement!
Yeah he seems less rough and roguish and more prim and proper
Dunno. Sure, Porcelain Graves may not be that unique among other skins in the skin line, but he sure is different from the usual Graves skins. Aren't you the one always talking about skins reinventing Champions?
It feels awful, getting a filler skin for a champion you enjoy, just for riot to drop two skinlines he'd be a great addition to in a row.
Like imagine they just wnet with porcelain jax and project graves, or maybe didn't make another yone legendary and put graves in high noon.
It'd probably end up feeling the same, after all riot loves making filler skins loveless pieces of merchandise, but it wouldn't be so jarring in a skinline that inherently fits the character.
We being treated with double videos?
I CAN'T I JUST CAN'T, YOU KEEP USING GENSHIN MUSIC, WHERE ARE THE GENSHIN CHARACTER DESIGN VIDEOS
He will not review them.
As he stated, they are the same body type with different eyes ,cloths, hair
Nothing really else
@@user-yq1wh4fm1h dang...
Aaaand now Riot is taking Saudi blood money. Wonderful.
At least it does something different with the character
Genshin music? Sooo... are reviews of genshin designs on the table?
I hate how League skins always get their blues and reds pulled towards purple.
What's the song in the backround of this?
It's from genshin, I don't remember which song it is ... I'll come back.
It's "Neverending Performance - Childe (Tartaglia) Boss Theme" by Yu-Peng Chen
@@mistakken4113More so, just his first phase music!
They needed to make money off the gays and give bara artists something to draw.
I dont get it: Porcilain MF was bad bc of Porcilain Gun and Graves is cool because of it?
Riot's biggest failure skins wise so far this year. It's amazing they already exhausted the interest for this skinline by it's 2nd outing. Graves and Darius generic porcelain look that could've been more. Graves, MF and Asol all sharing the same zodiac relic. Irelia doesn't look like Irelia, zodiac relic was lazily used on her. Morgana was at least serviceable. Also Graves has 2 lunar new year skins Porcelain and Wildrift exclusive Dragon Lantern, both dragon themed.
I disagree with this one, the whole of skins is alternate story lines. In this line Graves is not rough and tumble haha
Lissandra is the best
I love my gay
Wait so Darius keeping he's personality is bad but graves losing it was also bad?
Porcelain is one of the worst skin lines. You can't change my mind
daddy
clean and safe? that doesn't sound like league of legends in the 2020s are you sure
He's not even smoking whats the point of making him hot?
All of the heavenscale and "generic Asian aesthetic" skins are garbage cashgrabs. Fight me.
This skinline is the ugliest thing ever but they made a cool gun at least
I seriously dislike porcelain skinline. It just seems so boring to me, plus the models themselves are rather underwhelming.
Porcelain shotgun sounds so much like an oxymoron idiom, like bull in a china shop
