I also use regular strength white vinegar when I wash a load of clothes…it’s a great fabric softener alternative and helps get rid of smells in the clothes…
I saw an interesting video from Andrea Jean clean where she made up this awesome mixture of water, cleaning vinegar, and dawn and used it in a spray bottle…she even cleaned her curbside garbage bin with the mixture and made it look nice and pretty!
We’ve personally tried that dawn/cleaning vinegar/water mixture and it really does work well.
We spray it on whatever dirty surface, let it sit around 30 minutes, wipe the gunk up, spray the surface with water to rinse it off, wipe the water up, and the surface looks very clean! We’ve sold at least one relative on how awesome the mixture is so she’s starting to use the mixture as well!

No we professionals do not take everything out of the shower. It's less time consuming to just lift and wipe as you go and you're not completely rearranging your clients shower routine.
And we do not use a grout brush. We spray grout with peroxide and let it set while we're cleaning the rest of the bathroom. Then we spray and wipe the shower with a half water/vinegar mixture with just a little dish liquid added. So there's no need to rinse and you're not tracking soppy shoes around someone's house. And of course we go over everything one final time with a dry rag to shine. You can talk as fast as you want but I bet I can out clean you any day

Some of us professionals do remove everything especially if there are shampoo spills and "pink stuff" hiding behind them along with built up soap scum, not to mention razors and bottles without tops. Showers can be hectic! Some jobs are not restricted to light cleaning that only require a quick wipe and done. A great cleaner knows that there are indeed many ways to clean and respects others who are in the same field who aren't aware of their tricks to clean faster/be more efficient.
Most of us cleaners, professionals and beginners, are looked down on for choosing this industry even though it pays our bills. The least we can do for this underdog community is support one another and be helpful and realize that we will never know all there is to cleaning.

If you're wearing your shoes where it's wet and then walking around without drying them your gonna track stuff through the house anyway so I don't get your point. You might think you might be able to "out clean" this person any day and you might be right, although judging by your comment I have serious doubts, your attitude means you wouldn't be getting a second call.
