Is it Full Moon Spawning Time?

- The full moon generally indicates it is time for fish to spawn. Recently there was social media discussion that this week is supposed to get warmer, raising the water temperatures, just in time for the full moon to trigger increased spawning behavior by our bass here in Central Florida. Because if this I made a point to head to a local lake to see how the spawn is progressing. This lake is small in size and likely will be effected even more because of the rising temperatures and will more likely cause increase spawn activity.
Come along and see if the predictions were right or wrong.

Tom, that is a lake I also go to when it is too windy to fish other lakes. It is protected from the wind most of the way around the lake. Gerry
Its crazy that they are already spawning in Florida. Up here in NJ the waters are still trending towards ice and our bass won't even consider spawning until around late April. I guess thats why you have such huge bass down there.
FYI, I lived north of you most of my life so I understand what you are saying. We will have several spawns here throughout your winter. I will try to catch a few for you. Gerry

Fun video Gerald, thank you. I've been having some good bass catches up here around Leesburg. Mostly on 6" Zoom paddle tail swimming worms. I've seen no sign of spawning activity either.
