Megumi has actually been more soaked in sukuna curse energy and master experience in jujutsu than Yuji because he has been more time in active possesion of the body, with yuji it was only around 2 hours of possesion counting the finger bearer arc, shibuya and the enchain, in the order hand with megumi he has been in full control for more than a month where he has pushed his limits in fights such as the gojo, kashimo and even the yuji one

What can't he learn? Sukuna was the best 10 Shadows user in history, bested Gojo, has an acute understanding of binding vows that almost everyone else lacks, domain, etc. Yuji himself has Sukuna to thank for a ton of stuff and he did that shit before even bringing out the big guns. IF Megumi is still sane, IF he gets his body back, and IF he can still use jujutsu, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

The only reason I can think that his body can’t learn as much as Yuji is because Yuji was not only born with a finger Already infused to his body but he’s the son of Sukuna’s reincarnated twin AND Kenjaku. So his body and soul might not be as suitable/malleable for Sukuna’s techniques and CE as Yuji’s is

Based on recent chapters, megumis body has been infinitely more exposed to sukunas techniques than yujis ever was, sukuna only had control of yuji for like a total of 1-2 hours total, he’s had control of meguni for well over a month now, megumi should be a monster if he comes back

There is a difference between Megumi’s manifestation of Nue and Sukuna’s though. Megumi’s Nue is smaller, at first I thought it’s because of the difference in the scale of their cursed energy right, but then again Sukuna’s Nue isn’t just bigger, it’s also more gruesome, more menacing in the way it looks, whereas Megumi’s Nue is looking more friendly. Perhaps because Megumi genuinely cares for his shikigamis, while on the other hand Sukuna only treats them as weapons.

We’ve seen Sukuna use Max Elephant’s water without summoning it, and we’ve seen him use Maho’s adaptation for himself. So if Megumi comes back, what’s stopping him from manifesting Nue’s wings, or using the Deer’s RCT without actually needing to learn it for himself? I think Megumi should really explore this direction of Ten Shadows. Using the abilities of the Shadows without fully manifesting them could compensate for Megumi’s lack of strength. Imagine Megumi flying around and shooting lightning, while healing and adapting to all your hits.
Personally, I think the usage of Nue's ability would be similar to Kashimo's Mythical Beast: Amber since both Nue's and Kashimo's specialty is the electrifying cursed energy trait.
If Sukuna is Capable of using Max Elephant's Water as an attack without summoning the shikigami, technically, Megumi should be capable of using Nue's lighting as an attack without summoning it as well.
I’m a firm believer in potential man past this chapter, for good or bad. The distinction made that specifically the jujutsu that sukuna used in yuji’s body caused his growth reeks of foreshadowing. Megumi has SEEN the strongest person in the story use the 10 shadows, and his arc that has revolved around getting stronger and broadening the interpretation of the 10 shadows would be tied up very nicely if he learned from sukuna

I don't think the Six Eyes can see souls. This flaw was the main reason he got trapped in Prison Realm.
When he first saw Kenjaku in Geto's body he was confused because the Six Eyes were telling him that WAS Geto. IIRC, he said something like, "All the information granted to me by the Six Eyes tells me you're Suguru Geto. But my soul rejects this!"
If he could see souls with the Six Eyes he would've been able to tell there was something else in Geto's body immediately, and he wouldn't have had to rely on intuition.
The body swap works like this, (1) Yuji switches with Kusakabe and uses his brain and knowledge to perform Simple Domain gaining and understanding of like “oh so this is how you do it” from and realization standpoint. (2) Kusakabe uses his own knowledge and performs Simple Domain over and over to give Yuji body the muscle memory. (3) once back in his own body and having the muscle memory it is now easy as snapping a finger.
If Gojo had a body swap in Hidden Inventory he would’ve been able to do red and purple because he already had the information and know how to do it but his body didn’t so even having the knowledge from being passed on in his clan, Gojo himself didn’t have full realization until he finally performed it for the first time

I think the whole "Your body gets stronger because a more powerful Sorcerer used high level Jujutsu in it" argument is a Yuji thing to be honest, or at the very least, Yuji is the one that can make the most out of it.
I think if Megumi improves the to the events that happen, it would be something symbolic like getting a new perspective about his CT.

I do think the ten shadows technique changed slightly in regards to mahoraga's sword of extermination. Sukuna recognized it, so it does lead to speculation if that is a category of curse tool that existed in the past or if that's an actual relic of the past that somehow became associated with mahoraga
The switching is teaching Yuji's body, so like Kusakabe would drill New Shadow style and the control of cursed energy into Yuji's body by performing it in it, making it easier for Yuji's mind to figure it out because the reflexes are already there

I think mahoraga gave gojo the ability to perceive the soul. Because when he was looking for the wheel when sukuna hid it he found it on Megumi’s soul. It wheel acted as a beacon of sorts for gojo to find it. And since he is a prodigy it wouldn’t be trouble to find the soul again since he knows where it lies now.
I could definitely see that, that one panel where he realizes Megumi has been bearing the burden of adaptation is the best piece of evidence for sure. I just don't know if this equates to him being able to strike the soul in the same was as Yuji, but I mean hey, its Gojo. So I wouldn't put it past him.

I do think the new information about learning techniques from others souls is setting up something for megumi in some way.
Question: Since Construction is the base technique and deconstruction is the reverse for obvious reasons. Would reconstruction be the imaginary. It would make sense as construction and deconstruction are a form of reconstruction. Construction reconstructs things out cursed energy and deconstruction turns things into it. Reconstruction would make sense. Also how would it work. Would it need a touch like idle transfiguration but not just on things with souls or could it be be in a certain radius.

I think Binding Vows might be a big thing he leverages. He has great potential which he can leverage for temporary power like Gon from HxH, which I think fits his mindset

The thing is, we don't know a way to save both megumi and yuji while killing sukuna, especially since ui ui can't swap yuji and sukuna cus sukuna wouldn't consent so the best case scenario involving ui ui is yuji burns sukuna out till ui ui manages to use domain expansion which either gets rid of the consent rule or allows for even more precise and specific swapping which could result in sukuna being split from megumi via cursed object rules. The reason I say all this is because I imagine that whatever the circumstances to make it happen, megumi is gonna WAIL on sukuna with extreme power through sheer anger alone for killing gojo and tsumiki, where his anger will result in shikigami even bigger than stuff like sukuna's nue and agito.
6:15 you say that we know Nobara can damage the soul because of the fight with Mahito, but if I'm not remebering it wrong, wasn't it said in the fight with the Roppongi curse (early in the series) that her attack inflicted damage on the soul?

Both times Megumi used his (Incomplete) domain he needed to use a structure around him as the barrier. First being the cave, and second being the gym during the culling games. At the beginning of the manga I remember Megumi saying something to the effect of "I have trouble conceptualizing the barrier", and I think this perfectly sets him up for using an open barrier domain. It kinda just makes sense
For open domain he also needs a barrier. After Sukuna took damage from unlimited void he lost his ability to use domain expansion, and shortly after that Gojo said that he damaged the part of Sukuna's brain that accounts for barrier techniques
Honestly Megumi may actually get a Super Saiyan boost if he gain control of the body. Even though the amount of time in Megumi's body is low the amount of jujutsu used in this time gap is massive. Essentially the point of the soul swap training is even if ur soul is not using it ur body remembers the movements, techniques and all. It is similar cocept of muscle memory of real world. I think what Megumi will gain is the basics of Jujutsu (for example - efficient use of CE, RCT and basics of barriers techniqus) frm sukuna if it happens. As a Megumi fan I will remain hopeful untill the end of the Manga. 😢

Bro what if megumis domain was in complete because he hadn’t beat Maharaga. Add on Bonuses of being a vessel. We basically potentially are seeing a kinda toned down but fully realized version of Geto. Ex Sakuna Shrine combined with 10 shadows is like Uzamaki. Personally I think an open domain fits a shadow based domain.
To me when the swap happens there's 2 benefits. Your body gets the muscle memory from your master performing in it, and you train in a body that has the muscle memory of the technique so you learn faster. Back in your body you're battle ready. .
If Gege purposefully gave Mengumi an incomplete domain only for Sukuna unknowingly teach Megumi to do open domains would be peak foreshadowing from Gege's part

My theory is after he refines his Domain, after he uses the Domain, all his shadows get refunded back to him, returning all of them including Mahoraga, so he'll have control over Mahoraga because Sukuna already subjugated him while he was in his body alongside the other shadows he subjugated while he was in his body.

Yuji, with his extreme knowledge of soul and having sukuna already do the process in his body will be able to make himself into a cursed object and fight with megumi against sukuna within megumi’s body. Sukuna will almost die and then activate the merger, killing sukuna and forcing yuji to kill his best friend megumi to gain full control of the body to be able to stifle the merger of tengen from within

The statements about being able to learn RCT on his own plus the blood manipulation healing are a pretty good indicator but I think the best evidence to prove this is...his RCT
He's the only one we've seen struggle to actually grasp it and need to really focus on the parts of his body to heal. Not that other people aren't thinking about it but he's clearly really trying as if he didn't have enough time to progress it to the level he knows other skills. 6:30 Just to weigh in on this, i think Gojo can see souls. Im basing this on mahito in that im using Mahito as a barometer. In all of JJK, only a few number of people or specific attacks have been able to deal damage to Mahito like Yuji, Nobara, Mechamaru and in this case Gojo. These attacks against mahito only work because they damage his soul. When Gojo fired his quick draw domain expansion in shibuya, it affected all around him, including Mahito thus leading me to believe gojo can see souls....

Yuji was always there when Sukuna took over, he would let Sukuna take over to fight for him, Megumi never did this and everything that happened to him pushed his sould further and further down. His body has performed these actions but his soul hasnt been there to be conscious of the actions. He may get some buffs after Sukuna but even though Sukuna has done more while in Megumi's body I think there's a good chance that Megumi would only get minimal buffs

YALL ARE MISSUNDERSTANDING THE BOD SWAP! SUKUNA IS ONLY GIVING MEGUMI THE MUSCLE MEMORY, he probably won’t be able to use anything from sukuna until he hit a black flash or something like Yuji. I’d be pissed if megumi just came back using cleave and dismantle, fire arrow, and open domain after being a vessel for a month while Yuji was one for over 6 months and he just now got sukuna techniques.
What I think would and truly believe Gege has in store for us is that since Mahoraga is now dead, we will get to see Megumi explore new terrain of the ten shadows that has never been done before by utilising Mahoraga as a Totality option. This would be available for Megumi if he comes back since Mahoraga was tamed in his body (controlled by Sukuna) and also killed under his use. With Megumi steeped in Sukunas cursed energy, with mastery of his domain and with Mahoraga totality, he would definitely be able to keep up with the other heavy-hitters. Just imagine rabbit escape mahoraga or an Agito like/mahoraga fusion. Would be so hyped if this happened, but if it doesnt im bringing a pitchfork haha

Though based on my theory, Megumi's potential is unlocked because of what Sukuna did within his body by taming mahoraga.

i think the soul swap training focus on muscle memory. Say Yuji swapped with Shoko for rct, Yuji on Shokos' body still won't know how to rct since he have no experience of it, meanwhile Shoko can still use rct on Yujis' body since she actually have experience and knowledge to use it. While Shoko use rct on Yujis' body, she is letting Yujis' body to experience rct also maybe teaching Yuji on how to do it in preparation for him turning back and the result of this is Yuji learning rct faster. On the other note though, Yuji swapped with Kusakabe for domain and Choso or Yuta for rct since they are the most prominent on using it beside Hakari cause he just does it automatic, he may not teach as much. Plus more point for Choso since they both have same technique.

One thing is sure Megumi won't have the shrine, because Yuji and perhaps Yuta has some special condition, Yuji has a special body that allow him to drain the technique from what he eats and to use this technique for himself, Yuji also has 🧬 from Sukuna twins which make it easy for him to awake the shrine and also show his own use of the shrine...Megumi was only able to reduce Sukuna output...the only way for him to use the technique is by muscle memory but it won't be powerful as Yuji because the residual left from sukuna won't be enough...for Yuta I don't know, If rika eat the finger, that's perhaps mean they know the technique of Sukuna from the start but perhaps Yuta will be able to send more powerful slash now with sword...Gojo weren't false after all and he surely know the techniques Sukuna was hiding even if they weren't a big problem for infinity or perhaps one of those techniques was a problem.
I didn't think that Yuji "piloted" anything to learn simple domain. Kusikabe said that he was going to drill his techniques into Yuji's body. This seems to imply that Kusikabe performed the technique in job body, and that's how Yuji learned it.
Yuji could try to perform a simple domain in Kusakabe's body & it would be easier
As so many have pointed out already. I also don't think that sukuna being there passively does much to Yuji. It is more about the thing he actually did while being in control of a body. In this regards Megumi experienced much more!
