For me that would be perfect for going off grid with the caravan, I don't have solar so car charger would be perfect if I need to top up while away, and the price isn't too bad either, cheers Mel

I think 1kWh capacity with 2kW output power is about right for a camper. It will drive an induction hob, a small microwave or kettle and could cook at least 2 or 3 meals on a charge. No need for LG (or a diesel) hob.

Has anyone experienced any issues carrying out a firmware update on the Power 1000? I've downloaded the firmware update from DJI, however when I attempt to open the file a message appears stating the file cannot be opened as it is from an unverified developer. I'm using a MacBook Pro . I'll try to call DI in the next few days to see what they say but in the interim just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue?

Sorry Mell defo a bad idea for the MPPT Me I have 2 kw of solar going to buy more as the price has come down on the Solar going to boy 1 kw of Bifacial Solar so I can do some test as been watching lot's of videos on Bifacial Solar & the price has come down wow

Hi Mel. You didn't do a night heater test to see if it can power a diesel heater start up or run a van off it. 😂 to give it a proper test.
Great video, but.... Having a separate MPPT is a bad idea for a person with a Motorhome. Having a a cigarette lighter adapter separate. Also a bad idea. Just more to carry and lose. How long does the battery take to charge on a normal charger, does it save much time. Got my first power pack a few months ago. Delta 2, and to be honest I prefer to have it a unit that is all in one. The delta 2 is also cheaper.
Just got one of these(FOSSiBOT f2400) from amazon, specs are 2.4kW ac o/p and 2kWh of Lifepo4 batteries.
Same price as this one, but twice the capacity and many more features, including a 13.8vdc 25a xt60 output port(perfect for diesel heater/van batt boost), 11-50v 500w mppt xt90 input (which can be combined with the 1100w mains input for even faster charging), and very quiet fans. 👍 😊
I think anyone who wants to run there camper van using a power pack or solar generator should definitely look into getting one with a 12v 25 or 30 amp DC outlet well done for finding this one I’ve never seen them before 👍👍
