Awesome review! I'm waiting to get my M3 delivered and I also didn't opt for the carbon package. For your carbon ducts up front, did you install them yourself or did you have someone install them?
Absolutely beautiful car. BMW really did an amazing job with the performance. I had a few days with the G82 Comp. I'm wondering what your thoughts are prior to the performance mods, then after. BMW said the 6-speed manual wouldnt handle the competition's horsepower. Was there any hesitation to increase power with the 6-speed? How's it holding up? Enjoy and keep making great content, thanks!
This car is sick. I don't even care about the grill anymore. The performance and interior quality absolutely makes up for it.

Quick question are you running flex fuel kit to see what ethonal you are running?
Also when on dyno did you use map 5?
Excellent car. Can you comment on what gains you received with the catless DP, mid pipe, and the JB4 tune? I have been contemplating between the manual of Comp but the difference in HP and especially TQ is a pretty big deal.

Hello, congrats on your beautiful M3. I’m from California so it may or not apply to you in your state but I was wondering if the car passes smog check with all the engine mods you’ve done to it?
Just outside of Philly lol. Aka south jersey. I got stuck on the house in the background. Looked 100% like my parents old house in NJ.
Picked up an X3M and threw in the JB4 from your videos. Once an OTA flash becomes available, I'll remove it and swap to a flash tune. But WOW was I impressed with the different from just a JB4 and xHP tune over the stock X3M.

Hey PBC, I can’t find much info online - is the JB4 taking care of the CEL from the catless downpipes?
I have a very similar spec Isle of Man / Kylami coming in a month or two - thanks for all the content man.
You're welcome! The JB4 does get rid of CEL but only temporarily until it comes back. I have the Big Daddies 02 spacer(Just $50 each) and it has permanently gotten rid of CEL :)
Love your reivew! Is it much quiet than f80 in terms of cabin and road noise? I have a stock f80 MT and i find its hard to have regular conversation with passensgers when the road is not perfectly smooth. My wife complains all the time… lol
And does it have the same loud cold start sound like f80?
Stock it is very quiet especially in efficient mode(valves closed). Interior is better in every way over F8X.

Beautiful car. Not sure why but the front end looks way better on the M3 than it does on the M4. Not sure if it’s the angle of the hood or because the roofline is higher on the 3.
The M3 looks chiseled.
Still looks not good compare to F80 M3.

@@Ren_1106 Still not good compared to a G20, had they done an M3 version of the G20 it would've been fire. I mean just look at the rear end of the G80, it looks super good and it's basically because it's a G20 rear end.
@@imnota I've a buddy who purchased a M340i Touring, and he said that the new BMW M3 and M4 should take the inspiration from the G20 3 series.

great review! Are you going to run winter tires? If so what tires do you recommend?
No sir we don't get that many snow days around here so I got the Michelin AS4s(All seasons). I had the Michelin AS3s on my last 340i so I knew how good they would be. In a couple inches of snow, you're good. If you get a lot of snow, then recommend Michelin X or Alpin PA 4.

I was wondering on this video what your jb4 settings on map 6, I myself and a manual m4 and I'm on map 5 with e30, but want to switch to map 6, if you don't mind please share what your map 6 settings were I would appreciate it.
What's your opinion on the "Project Gamma" or "RK Tune" style intakes, where the intakes are upfront and facing the direct air?

I really like this car now. Idk why , but the grill fits the character . People should stop comparing the grill to nostrils and look at it from a desgin stand point
question: would you say you need the downpipe to produce the sound you are making or would the midpipe be good enough??
getting my twilight purp g80 in about a month and love this sound
Check out the video on my channel with just the midpipe! For most just the midpipe is enough. The catless just makes it crazy loud and aggressive.

Nah this seems to be true only with the S58s on JB4. Things can be different on a flash tune.

Hey, nice M3! Got some questions:
1. How do you made the jb4 obd2 pass through the firewall? Or it's through the door? I had to pass it through the door, because with the clutch, there is no space left.
2. Did you dynoed the car? And what map are you using? I found thottle closures with all maps, tends to behave better in normal mode rather than sport+

Hey brotha. I had the JB4 installed along with the midpipe installed at the shop. So I didn't do it myself. Yup I dyno'd it twice. Once with just midpipe 475 whp and then with catless dp E35 fuel and JB4 Map 5 660whp which was my highest. This was before intakes. And yes efficient mode suprisingly gives the best numbers :)
@@phillybimmerclub2902 wow I have only catless DP and the BMS front mounted intakes + JB4. I noticed a lot of throttle closure and it pulls hard on Map 2, never tried Map 5 though, was afraid of overboost.
Now I am sending my ECU to Russia for unlock, the JB4 is not my thing, but I have to admit it can make serious numbers! Thanks for replying!
@@0Camus0 I have done over a hundred 60-130 runs on Map 4 and 5 using ethanol. Not a single issue with JB4. Flash tune will always be best but not worth the hassle and cost for me. Been very happy with JB4. Car does sub 7.0 60-130 on a piggyback which is good enough for me haha. Let me know once your tune is done!

The best M3s are the e30 e46 and of course the e92 ..although i didn't like the huge grilles at first but these are starting to grow on me a little especially in all black

How much power can the stock clutch handle?
So far around 660 whp for me. I'd guesstimate it will start slipping above 700 whp

Im worried about the gear changes on the g vs the f and the exhaust notes. Id get the f80/82 hands down but the back end is worrysome for me

How is a M3 a 30k more a better value than a M340i? U can always make a car fast but its not 30k faster! That's not even being realistic
Where are you getting your numbers? Brand new base M340i MSRP = $56,700. Brand new base M3 MSRP = $69,900. And yes, I know the current market is crazy for M3s but this is strictly comparing what their actual prices are. There are still dealerships that are ethically selling at MSRP including the one 10 mins from my house, BMW of Turnersville.

@@kevinnesmith7269 I never compared to the Xdrive. I compared it to my non-Comp RWD 6MT version that you can order for 70K. You can also option an M340 and it can hit 65-70K easy. It goes both ways. Also it's not just about the M3 being faster.
