- In the late 80's, Opel produced just 500 of these Superboss models, with the sole aim of taking on the homegrown hero of the BMW 325is. Coming standard from the factory with a Cosworth designed cylinder head, Shrick cams, forged pistons, and a revised intake helped the stock car make 125kw - a decent figure back in the 80's, but not so much today.
With the above in mind, this particular Superboss has had the noteworthy addition of a huge turbo, as well as various Haltech bits and pieces, helping the 2.0 GSI 16 V engine now pump out 385kw on the dyno - over triple the original figure.
Filmed in 4k on a Canon EOS R with a 16-35mm f2.8 lens, and a Boya BY-MM1 external microphone. The dyno is located at Mamba Sport, in Durban, South Africa.
