everyone singing still alive together made me realize how impactful and fun this game was for so many people. it really is cool how everyone who could never have ever communicated could get together over a common likeness. sort of like Glados and Chell against Wheatley now that i think of it. it looks like an overall fun and emotional experience for everyone there and i wish i got into portal sooner just to experience all of this although i was 9 when portal 2 came out.
The idea of the ending is while Glad0s continues to test down below, Chell is essentially without a real purpose. Having survived the thrills of Aperture, she ends up right outside, aimless, with a companion cube to guide her... But actually, she has no purpose. Her identity itself is questionable. She's mute. Maybe can't even write considering her time in cryosleep.

I'm not sure if there is a song that captures the movie/show/game that it was written for as well as Still Alive. 10 years later, this song still gives me goosebumps....a credit to how much the game moved me and how perfect this song captured the spirit of the game.
I discovered portal 1 and 2 when I was about 9 through my older brothers, and I absolutely loved the endgame music in them, I feel that it gave the games so much more life. I feel the need to thank Jonathan Coulton for bringing some joy to my 9-yro self. He's definitely one of the big influences that got me into music.
