Whether it was long, short passes you name it and decision making too. He’s definitely the most talented out of Lampard and Gerrard. He was also the best at controlling a game of football. Gerrard on the other hand is the most complete. He could do everything - pass, shoot, tackle, leadership, drag a team on his own etc. big moments and Gerrard was the best at producing them. When boils down to being in a real football match situation, you’d want Gerrard to beside you as he could do everything and probably bail you out. Lampard was clearly a phenomenal goal machine. The way he ghosted into the penalty box and score so many goals…. He was defo the best in that department. Scholes was technically gifted and Gerrard was an athlete but they both could do the same thing, it's a shame they didn't play that many games together for England.
