Honestly excellent work! that's a pretty neat way of counting for warlock spell slots!

The warlock homebrew I'm fiddling with is based on the 3.5 version of the class.
Eldritch Blast is a class feature and the damage scales at the same rate Rogue Sneak Attacks scale.
Spell slots are gone. Instead of spell slots you get more invocations and the key spells on the warlock spell list are now invocations. Invocations that mimic spells can be cast at will, still eat up concentration if the spell needed it, and you can get them a level or two later than full casters get that level of spell.
Any bonus spells warlocks get from subclasses, feats, or backgrounds become spell like abilities you can use a number of times per long rest equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded up.
Mystic Arcanum is now a marker in the class table that tells you what spell level you cast all your spells and invocations at.
The warlock spell list is pruned so it doesn't have nearly as many direct damage spells, but you don't need them as much with the boost to eldritch blast. The spells that were warlock exclusives are all invocations as well as most of the utility, battlefield control, and thematic or social encounter spells.
All of this means the warlock has one of the smallest spell selections in the game, but they can use those spells over and over at high levels. Is it balanced? Is anything in D&D actually balanced?

Level Up does it much like that

Nothing is really balanced in D&D. Its honestly just a bit of a cluster f***. Cr's, CR Diff Levels. Classes feel like a P.S. Tack On from 3.5 and 4e.
