They are definitely rock. Her voice is actually incredible and very distinctive. Nothing against Joan or Lita but Dorothy has a way better and more powerful voice than they do. Dorothy actually toured with Lita and Halestorm a few years back
Your criticism is something that needs to be backed up. They NEVER claimed to be metal. Don’t know where that came from. She has 3 albums out, try listening to them then come back with a critique.
They never claimed to be metal. They are hard rock. Think Rival Sons with a female lead. Regarding her voice….she sings circles around Lita and Joan. I saw both of them when they were new, Dorothy is a true belter. Check her out on Slash’s blues album. She gives Beth Hart a run for her money.

She's alright, but I like it more for guitarist Sam "Bam" Koltun" from Faster Pussycat. Great guitar player.
