I disagree with below comments, sure Nio house is a cash burn but Nio brand can’t compete against 100 years old BMW/Audi/Mercedes lagacy brand so Nio house gives customer a sense of luxury and feeling part of something special (like going to lounge at the airport) it’s costly I agree! But genius to speed up the process of Nio being part of luxury brand…

If they were making profit...d cash burn is huge at d moment especially as they do swab stations same time. Charging speeds improving so tone down d swap stations and Nio houses until deliveries consistently high
I agree Fisker went bankrupt but they were not seeking enough cars, Nio is selling 200k this year and already 500K total so it’s in better shape that Lots of new EV. The Q2 has to show double digits margin for sure! 8% is just not enough. But the vision of luxury by Lounge Nio House is still a step in the right direction. Let’s hope they can now slow down the cash burn!

Is everyone expecting NIO houses to be always full of people? They are selling luxury cars in a luxurious space.. not a bunch of people queuing for a sandwich or a cheap clothing store?!

It would be nice if they were not always empty. "Look at the library in the Nio House, (Not a soul in it)... pretty cool" Mr. P, calling failure "pretty cool" is pretty insulting to investors in Nio.
If people only new the basics on Battery degradation, then they would realize that Nio is not really expensive. The negative comments are laughable specially coming from people that have no clue about the product, the industry , much less running a multimillion company
The company I work for (E-bikes) has also more brands than just one...and our customers for the high end brand are very different compared with our other lower market brands. Sales are never been affected 😉

Nio cannot survive unless it launches Onvo successfully. Nio Houses, Nio phone, Nio BAAS, Nio premium luxury EVs..... road to bankruptcy unless it can produce and sell a low cost EV. Why? The average annual income per capita in China is $5,700 (US dollars) compared to $38,000 in the US. So the Nio Houses are a waste of money. Stop chasing the rare affluent Chinese and focus on the mass market in China.
Onvo will make money, so will baas, so will their NIO cars not as fast due to the cost trades for luxury. Look at Rivian, NIO is a monster growing and closer to profit than Rivian and other competitors.
