This video shows a few acceleration sequences with the freshly facelifted KIA Ceed Sportswagon and should give you an impression of the powertrain. The three-cylinder engine does a good job and is sufficient as a family car for everyday use. I come from a BMW with twice the number of cylinders and 118 hp more and don't have the feeling of being underpowered. When cutting this video I noticed that you can reach 100 kilometres per hour also in 2nd gear. Besides this, the traction control regulates very hard in the first gear. If you turn it off and stay in second gear, times under 11 seconds are probably realistic. But I guess that this has no relevance in everyday use. The performance is good and the fuel consumption is low - you can also swing along briskly on the highway. In summary, I can recommend both the car and the engine.
PS.: If you compare the performance figures of the 100hp version with the 120hp version, you will find out, that there is absolutely no difference below 4500 revs.

The 1.0TGDi engine is not great for highway driving if you need to break and accelerate a lot (cars pulling out in front of you) but it's ok for traveling at constant speeds. Consumption is 4.9 at 100, 6.5 at 130kph when it's 30C. Add 0.7 liter when freezing outside.

I got my gt-line 2022 automatic 1.0-gdi sportwagon chipped , its really impressive what those little 1 litre 3 cylinders can do it is pretty quik tbh!! Did a dyno run with it, stock it had 122ps and 172nm of torque, after the custom tune: 148 ps and 248nm of torque on 98octane not bad at all! It's truly a lot quicker then it was stock... i love it!

go from 1 to 3. Since its a six speed the 3rd has about the same ratio as a 5 speed trans
