Great breakdowns & excellent descriptions! It helped me when I watched the video in 1.5X playback speed, it made the video seem more fluid.
Thank you. I will keep your observation in mind. Thank you.
Well done, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!

I’m sorry doctor I have to ask a question why do you create optimum sleep conditions when life is not optimal.? It makes little sense to me that when I did my sleep latency test the room is excessively cold there was an uncomfortable chair but I’m much more comfortable bed then I was sleeping at home that I laid in all day long in read. Which makes me tired everything about the sleep latency room and the environment that day was surrounded around optimal conditions to get a narcolepsy diagnosis. I don’t understand why you would want to do that when a narcolepsy diagnosis can be detrimental to a persons ability to provide for his family costing him his license or creating such conditions that it would be difficult to safely employer him in various trades and jobs. I don’t understand it’s almost like they want the diagnosis so they can treat with medication and have a prolonged lifetime chronic patient. And when I had my sleep latency test they didn’t take into account that the person I sleep next to Suffers from severe insomnia and sometimes goes days little more than a few hours sleep and never is sleeping while I’m sleeping. I was constantly woken up for years dealing with pets kids they need to urinate several times a night and the fact that my wife would sit next to me up all night watching television and the fact that she was always hot and I was always waking up cold. My doctor I believe was quite negligent and missing several these factors but refuses to remove the narcolepsy diagnosis. I was not asked to stop certain medication and yet he said that I was a danger or risk driving when he should’ve said you should sleep in another room. I’m a light sleeper and always have been I’m also a person who can go to sleep anywhere anytime if I’m given 10 to 15 minutes to take a nap my sleep latency test I was asleep within two minutes or so but I had been suffering and they had documented evidence from my wife’s file who shares the same doctor, that I’ve been Most likely heavily sleep deprived for a year to three years just depending on how long they had been actually seeing my wife.
Does someone Have cataplexy but mslt shows normal? So strange, they couldnt conform narcolepsy because of not abnormal test
Thank you. Cataplexy is a clinical diagnosis.
@@israelalfonso2569 unfortunately not, my test come normal, gene test was negative, and Lumbar puncture was also fine, that is why they couldnt conform narcolepsy :(
Taking an mslt test ruined my life. :)
Why do you say that?
Same with my bf. :)
@@Jasper787217 cause i was advised to take one since i had sleep apnea and was still tired in the day and the ritalin i was perscribed didnt wake me up. (little did i know i had adhd) so it just calmed me down more than anything. anyways long story short. I got bored and tired and since i fell asleep i apparently have narcolepsy and lost my license and job. and every job i am qualified for requires my own vehicle. so ive had a hard time. but fighting it now cause should have it back by new year. since everyone i talk to who has brough up getting a test ive told them they will lose their license if they fail. and noone seemed to know this information. they should tell people lmfao.
Thank you for the information. I was not aware of it.
@@ivegotavandetta wtf?? Where are you, I know plenty of people with Narcolepsy that have their licenses. Did they say you have type one or two?
Again everything about this test is to try to prove that there’s some sort of sleep issue that probably isn’t there on most of these people. When you’re talking about affecting peoples lives costing them multiple thousands of dollars of appointments and medication it’s easy to see with the medical industry is endgame is with all of this. Real world conditions and we have the technology nowadays to get those are the only way that you can truly prove a person has these issues it’s ridiculous to say also that one persons ability to sleep and reach rapid eye movement quickly negatively impacts their ability to stay awake throughout the day and when doctors are ignorant to the facts and are only reading the numbers on this pageThey’re leaving out very important and pertinent information. A good soldier learns to sleep anywhere at any time because he doesn’t know when his next rest may come. The important thing is once ability to choose when and where they rest as what may or may not constitute them as narcoleptic or dangerous to be driving or operate heavy machinery. When we don’t look at the person when we don’t look at the habits and we don’t look at these other very important factors and then we create optimal conditions to support a diagnosis we’re doing patients in justice
I know some clinics have at home sleep studies where they attach the equipment to you and send you home with it, maybe that would make a difference?
