I love this as a career. You will be starting on the night shift which can have its downside health wise for some, but they are typically 12 or 10 hour shifts. The work is very interesting and rewarding.....at least for me. Let me know if you have any further questions. ( my forum is the best place to contact me since I'm on it everyday....not so much on CZcams.)

Thanks, TheLankyLefty27...this was a good refresher for me while I'm in between Sleep jobs. I will come back and watch this one again and the other one, too, that has the person with severe OSA. This is a rewarding job, and very interesting. I am a CRT who does sleep and the rest of Respiratory Therapy just doesn't have the same appeal to me as Sleep Therapy does. Thanks again! I'm studying to take my RPSGT so I'll be looking all over the net for study materials to get my ready for it.

I don't know the answer to that. It likely wouldn't hurt though. That's really only a question that you would get a better answer from by visiting an Ear Nose Throat specialist. I understand the lack of insurance is a hurdle. Can you contact a local ent and see if they'll do a free or cheap consultation?
