Hahaha the head turning when paused literally traumatised me the first time it happened to me, it’s so creepy. Glad to know it’s not because of the mods in my game and that I don’t have to get rid of them for the glitch to stop, it’s just because the sims 4 is super buggy 😅

I’ve literally never played the Sims 4 (I’m a strictly Sims 2/3 player) but I watch all your videos because they’re always entertaining. You should definitely make this into a series!
Them moving still during pause is so scary!! It happens in Sims 2 and 3 as well. I've been playing them both again recently and yea it's crazy.

I'm 24 and have dealt with anxiety (among other mental health issues) my whole life. it does get easier when you learn to cope with it. sounds like you're already doing the right things to try and combat it. stay strong

can use mccc(mailbox) to summon any sim to the lot to force them to stay the night lol
MC Cheats > Sims/NPC Households Cheats > Summon Sim > By Name/List all sims.
Sometimes for lag (normally caused by entering or exiting buildmode, cas or world map) you can also try simply clicking on the options menu then leaving, to get rid of the lag, sometimes its just that and nothing to do with mods
the head slowly moving in pause glitch is so creepy, but i love it, i feel like theyre resisting the pause and trying to be self aware, sims 2 used to do that now sims 4 too haha

You may not be someone who's seen much if any Star Trek, Satch, but when you deleted the guy's wife, I thought of a Star Trek Voyager episode where the (female) captain deletes a holodeck (think VR without a headset and you can touch things) character's wife because she wants to start a relationship with him, or pretend to at least. lol The captain even says, "Delete the wife." when she tells the program to delete her. lol

I wish dream home decorator could overhaul the whole build and buy system. Like, make some ugly furniture -X decoration points, make some of the expensive fancy furniture +Y decoration points, etc. Cuz we have some furniture that does not add anything to the game. There’s no comfort points, no decoration points, nothing. How could the game see if you did a good job decorating? They don’t even have to work too much on it. Make the cheaper crap “ugly”, the middle part +1 or +2 and the most expensive things +5 and up, just like how you have “uncomfortable” or “+10 comfort” sofas or beds. Is that too much to ask? Give us a challenging budget at the start and actually measure or work rather than randomly telling us “you did great!” Or “it’s awful”. And goddamn it, why would the sims tell us crap like “I hate acting”. Whatcha want me to do with that info, mate? What, I avoid putting cameras in the room or what? There’s no cameras in the game anyways, goddamn it. I HATE dream home decorator and I hate how much they hyped it. Furniture is nice but that’s a STUFF pack, give me back my money.

You know how when you have a low photography skill there's a chance your photos will come out looking blurry? There should've been a home decorating skill where if you have a low decorating skill there'a a chance the furniture you put down will be broken or it won't be the color you chose.
It’s not your mods that pack is just broken. I got that house too and I felt like a monster turning that house modern, it was awful but not the worst thing it made me do lol

The interior designer career reminds me of a DS game called Imagine: Fashion Designer. (Now, if you're a girl who grew up on GS games in the 00s-10s you will know how SHITE the Imagine franchise is). Basically you completed assignments throughout the game (say, 70s themed assignment) and you had to unlock items as you went through (or you had to earn money or something, I can't remember) but you'd always use the cheapest / basic items and pass, and every outfit you made just looked stupid tbh. It was easy to cheat the system, but at the same time if you put effort into it you'd somehow fail the assignment. I know the DHD game pack is over priced, but this game was £30 BACK THEN. It probably sells for a fiver on eBay now, but if one out a gun to my head I'd rather waste more money on the DHD pack.
Then again I recall the IFD game had a colour wheel.
I have to comment on the dog thing lol I have 4 kids and 1 dog and I honestly have a harder time with the dog than I do my kids lmao And a baby versus a puppy??? Don't even get me started 😅
That build probably uses Debug objects. Debug can cause lag.
