- Ok so that was total click bait, but there is some truth to it.... we live in a time where our machines can do so much more than they used to. From Chopping, to key matching, to instant time stretching, and warping... the list goes on and on.... The spirit of the older machines is still there, but the technology has advanced.... it's okay to embrace the new and pay homage to the old... The MPC One, The MPC Live 2, and The MPC X / X SE are all incredible machines. Chop away folks... chop away!!!!

Mpc X really is the best tbh. Made some straight “Ready to die” shit last night.. I now realize after goin bankrupt buying hella older gear that The Mpc X can sound like the 3k or even the SP once you tweak the filters and etc. not just the retro emulation options but the filters and eq’s tuned properly will have your shit feelin and sounding like 1988 all the way up to 2024 and future . I’m done listening to arguments of people that have bare minimum gear saying what’s best.
We give the 90’s producers way to much credit I now realize even ski beatz said politics and dead press was mixed on a 20k board that helped that sound we all chase. Older feat doesn’t compare to the Mpc X out the box just being honest.
Plus it’s all about what you put in. I used to hate seeing those comments but I can now confirm this
I would say the mpc live 2 is the best although it has less memory the battery, speaker and the portability wins in my opinion.. Having said that, the mpc sxe is a nice bit of kit. Enjoy 👌🏽
