That Silvia is definitely one of my favourites of the year. Perfect casting, perfect colour, perfect wheels, good details and thank god for the number plate.
I actually did quit i go to the shops only after pay and by then everything is gona last normal TH i got was maybe more than a year ago. Anything remotely cool is long gone by the time i get to the shops its really bad and im not a hectic collector cant wait for these but not keeping my hopes up again.
Yeah I don't expect to see these on the pegs long enough for me see them except left overs because people resell them to make money, if that's the case sell those people cases so they stop going to the pegs asking people to pull boxes from the back but then take all the ones marketable
Man I got so lucky today, there’s always a scalper at my local Walmart and I came in at 4pm which usually there’s nothing left and I found all of them except for the mustang, yes I got both corollas it’s crazy
Mattel’s printer run out of ink? The dot matrix looks especially horrible on these with their extra deco. Hard pass. Plain ones looks okay. Cool scenery though, at least a sliver of it, lol. Enjoy the vacay.
Off topic but about the rlc huayra r that just came out. Got 2 of them. Just arrived today. So the mirror placement on the rlc would be correct if it was one of the road legal versions (not the r variant) but the mirrors on the real life huayra r are placed by the windows like a normal car not on the wheel arches. Looks good either way just something I noticed after I got them. It’s also stunning almost mirror finish and no imperfections
Mattel should make different types of axles for different color wheels. It would be nice if the axle was darker to go with the dark wheels, like a darker metal.

The making of a model car is like painting it. You should be able to sell your talent if that imagery is what people want. Licensing is a moneymaking pyramid scheme. A model car does not diminish purchases of the real car or infringe upon success of the car company.

I'd have to remove the s14 and add someone actually in Formula drift. I'm sure anyone that actually watches FD would of rather seen Rad Fans supra. Or Adam LZ's RTR. ANYONE ELSE.
Time HW addressed their crappy rims. Those black TEs look so bad with the axle hub showing. Every other premium brand now does model specific rims and yet Hot Wheels - with the power of Mattel and high production numbers - still turn to their limited supply of plastic looking wheels. Time to move on to the other brands out there guys!
Why does the Hot Wheesl premium brand still do such a lousy job with scale proportions and mfg. OEM colors? Rookies go for their lame preproductions just because they don't know any better.

RTR mustang is an underrated casting for sure. 240 would look better without the stupid spoiler
