I often wondered why sewing machines didn’t come in different colors like cars. I love the painted sewing machine. I am surprised I never thought of doing that because I love color and will paint on anything. Many years ago I applied decals of all sorts of sewing items like scissors, needles, pin cushions etc, because I was bored with the white. I paint my Shepard hooks all different colors, such as red, purple, green etc. just to put color in my garden. I paint flower pots, plant stands, rocks and pretty much anything else I can get my hands on. People often ask what makes me paint stuff. I tell them because it didn’t come in the color I wanted. That’s why I’m surprised I never thought of painting my sewing machine. In any case I’m glad you did and I will definitely give it a try. Keep up the good work.

It was fun seeing how you personalized your sewing machines with bright and cheerful colors. Also comparing stitches on the different machines. THANK YOU!

Thanks again Christopher for sending me the link to your CZcams channel. I had no clue you had a channel. I am very new to sewing and I had bought those LED strip lights and they just get in the way when I’m sewing but when I saw your light on the post, I fell in love. I appreciate the information and I’m gonna go do a search for these lights. I had already done a search and didn’t have any luck but I appreciate your help God bless you

My name is Lupita, I found you on a video you posted 8 yrs ago where you were doing embroidery with a Janome skyline S5 sewing machine then I saw this video and saw that you also have the singer quantum 9960 this are the two sewing machine I’ve been looking to buy. I’ve done my research on both and found both are good quality machines but I’ve also heard so many bad thing about the singer sewing machines now. I would like to know your opinion on which one you recommend of this two sewing machines. I am an intermediate at sewing I had a singer one plus sewing machine which lasted about 6 years with me that’s the only machine I’ve owned. So far you are the only youtuber that I’ve seen that has both and can give me an honest opinion. Thank you very much.

Adopting a sewing machine is such a personal decision. Take the fabrics you sew with and go to your local sewing machine dealer(s) to test-drive different models and brands. If you watched all my videos on all the different machines I own, they each have their own personality.
Choosing a sewing machine is like buying a car. You must test drive to find the sewing machine that works for what you will be sewing and what feels right for you. Independent sewing machine dealers in brick-and-mortar stores carry quality brand and model machines. The local dealers also offer educational sewing classes and machine support.

I gotta experiment how to paint my machine without covering the stitch decals on it. It's that 80/90's beige with brown. The symbols are factoried onto the plastic and my search for replacement stickers has been fruitless so far :(
Luckily it's cover is the same material so I can "practice" on that but the struggle is real in transforming the vibe.
