Yeah I wanted to try out how it would feel building first, then talking about my thought process after the fact. Each format has it's pros and cons but I liked how this video went.
It definitely has its charm. But I do prefer the old style as it makes me feel more connected to the thought process. Though, I can understand that it’s more work. Anyway, love the vids dude. I‘m always checking my inbox for a new one!

@@flowstatevideo Truth be told you could do probably a mix in between, record your thoughts during and afterward to give a sort of true interesting and authentic video, the full process so to speak. Just a thought.
@@flowstatevideo I really love the organic aspect of the original commentary. Because I feel like I’m there while you’re building. it gives better insight on your thought process during a build. It’s also great to see your mistakes because it makes me feel like I too could build it.
But I also liked when you took a step back from the build and chose to talk about something personal in your life and giving advice because It’s Very humanizing and relatable.
I feel like a merge of both styles would be amazing.

I enjoy the “script” like video, but I also love listening to your thoughts in the moment. I don’t want to sound like I’m criticizing your video, but if you could have “in the moment” thought breaks in a video like this it would be perfect. These are my absolute favorite!!
Yeah there's pros and cons to each style, just thought I'd mix it up a bit. It's nice to build without having to explain what I'm trying to do, and then adding the voice over later, but it makes editing more challenging.

Your story with you and your partner is quite touching and very real. Finding a meaning and calling to your dreams and your work is definitely somehow I think about a lot.
A song thats been my recent "Wild things by lo spirit" presents that in the sense of raising someone.
The little tangent just really hit me.
Also the plane is amazing. You could probably use "valkyrean skies" to make it actually fly. And create mod to make the propeller spin.
It may be something to think about in future builds.
That could even be a unique challenge to make a mobile build without a plan.

Good to see a new video from flowstate. These builds with no plan are just great, and helped me like building in minecraft more, as i was pretty bad so i wouldn't really build. I even used some of your designs for small stuff for a server with my friends, and they really liked it! Also idea for the barbeque, you can put between the chains a stripped jungle log, so that it looks like a big piece of meat.

Building underwater is my favorite place to build at i can make as large as i want and it won't look ugly, the vibe is sooo nice, and when you finish it it looks so cozy sometimes❤
I love this series! It really helps inspire me to build more stuff in Minecraft, which I've struggled with for a long time. I love this sort of chill content, it helps me relax without demanding my constant attention, and it's great to have on in the background as I try to make my own stuff in the game (it never looks as good as any of your builds though lol)

The background music really elevates the video imo, I love the songs that you picked. They totally match the aesthetic of the build and help to immerse the viewer into the flow of it.
everything about this video today was calming maybe because of the lighting from the ocean colors and the waves moving across but its so quiet and peaceful. Just Perfect.
I found this channel recently and honestly it’s helped me so much. I’ve loved Minecraft because it’s helped my creativity a lot and these kinds of videos help me relax after long days, I turned 20 last year and I’m going through a really stressful time in my life right now and these help me see that you can still enjoy things from your childhood even when you grow up so thank you. I love the editing and especially when you go into caves and your voice echos it’s a really nice touch

I think it’s amazing you shared such a personal moment with you and your gf. I’m going through a situation with a knee injury and we are right on money bc I’m only able to work so much (I do remodeling on homes). I’ve had to come up with creative ways to make money on some of my side jobs like painting or doing trim but it’s nice knowing you’re human with a goal and a purpose for what you do. Love the content keep it up man bc you deserve it!!!

i think you should use worldedit a little bit for the building videos, although it might make the process less realistic, it will definitely make some stuff way less annoying for example draining huge amounts of water with //drain instead of sponges
also i like the idea of having a voiceover on the video, but i think you should only do that for some parts of the video, and do real-time voice for other parts.

Thanks for your feedback yeah I probably won't always do these voice over style builds. I just wanted to try something different since it's sometimes hard to build and talk at the same time.
i dont usually mess with water because it can be SOOOO annoying, but i love the build!

I appreciate the script writing, though I do prefer the raw live building. Perhaps a blend of both could please everybody.
