Recently saw her in Detroit. The band is special, a perfect fit. She did not look like I expected. I have not anticipated an artist so strongly in decades. It was a thrill. Already captivated, I was surprised by her beauty, her presence. I was also curious to witness her audience. Again I was pleasantly surprised. A mature audience, older people populating, a sober dignified crowd. This one is a rare gem. Fearless in her humility, screaming in her simplicity, comfortable in her confidence. I am impressed by the loyalty of her band members. Hope this act continues on for a long time.

Absolute favourite song on the album. When it came on time stopped and a shiver went up my spine. Been listening to the album all day but I keep coming back to this song in particular. Haunting

The opening piano lines/phrases remind me so much of the album Dat Rosa Mel Apibus by White Magic. For anyone who loves Aldous, I recommend White Magic's entire discography since it's quite short.

vocal style IS Neil Young who is one of her big influences, sounding like someone else is something she's always done but in such an interesting way, she captures the best of them and does something with it
