1958 Evinrude 3hp "Ugly motor."

1958 Evinrude 3hp " Ugly motor." Runs great after the whole carburetor was changed. Come to find out after 2days of cleanIng and messing with the carburetor, it had damaged slow needle and high speed orifices. So, I got a donor carburetor from a 1959 3hp evinrude and cleaned it out and transferred the carburetor kit contents from the old carburetor to the new one and bingo! Everything was running right!!!!
Watch out catfish at Chico State Park in Louisiana those jug lines are coming for you.

Hey Mumbles! She is a smooth runner. Unfortunately, we did not catch many fish...almost none :(
My mother save the day by make a big pot of shrimp ettoufee'. Yum!
My son and daughter had fun motoring around with the little 3hp.
