@@scorpiontx91 I think the 80s feel is due to the animation. That's the way a lot of MTV videos were made in the 80s. I also agree that kinda sounds like the 80s yet more so the 60s tunes.

my English teacher made us listen to this today and it's been stuck in my head since! this song has a lovely Tame Impala vibe, but it's unique enough to stand on it's own.
This song just popped into my head today after years. I found it back in my Spotify Started playlist from before they changed it to liked, but the band name is "Oregon Bike Trails" on there, and they have one other song named Cayucas both from a single released in 2011. I assume that they just rebranded, but just thought it was interesting for some reason.

Nah. You'll just look a bit dorkish. Instead of paying for a tutor, watch videos on CZcams. For example, I have learned several dances by simply slowing down the video and copying someone's moves shot-for-shot. It works

Not really a copycat. They just have a similar sound. Their other two songs don't sound like beck that much. They obviously are inspired by them, but being inspired and having a similar sound does not make a copycat.
