- Making engraved jewellery! One thing I’ve always wanted to try custom engraving jewellery, so when I recently started using the new Dremel Lite I knew the project that I would experiment with. I decided to make engraved gold, stone and glass pendants, and it was so fun to work with the different mediums!

VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE THAT IS NOT MENTIONED
A rotary grinder (Dremel) acts like a wheel and there is definitely a learning curve to drawing or writing with one. It is not like a pencil, it will propel in one direction and resist in the opposite direction. This takes getting used to , and you should be aware of this before taking on small, intricate work requiring precision.
Yes I agree practice is essential
as from someone who nearly lost my finger I can say please please always make sure you are grinding away from your self image it’s a grinder you face it away from you so all the debris and sparks and potential power tool doesn’t come hurtling toward you uncontrollably happy grinding people stay safe
