You might want to check out the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. They have several MacNeil Lehrer reports that were pulled straight from the PBS feeds in the early 80s right with the PBS Tech Center slates.

Hey thanks! I’ve been compiling a compilation of PBS’s satellite feeds and am always looking to add more!
What was the earliest year you saw? I’ll start there.

The video doesn't seem to play in 60fps when I have "720p60" selected...

      The original source was 30fps.

TheVintageTVArchive When did The NewsHour go to 60fps? Or was it always 60fps but this source is only 30fps? Because I always remember it being 60fps.

Since the Newshour was videotaped, it was always in 60fps, but almost all episodes were uploaded to the AAPB in 30fps.

It’s the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. That’s where I got all of these Newshour clips in high quality.
