Very, i did have a bad 177 barrel that was all over the place. Spend thousands of pellet’s trying to fix it. Finally bought a new barrel and it was a tack driver.

My original Avenger 25 cal. is extremely accurate. So why would this be any different? Hundreds of birds have lost their lives because of it.
100%; definitely didn't expect anything less :).
Differences it this gen2 and Gen1 is AvengeX model has a stainless steel reg in it w bigger transfer port resulting in a lot more power. The plenum is also little different.😅
Mine is a 22. It sucks bigtime. Barrel keeps fouling up. Shooting 25 grain JSB, it just keeps producing flyers. 18 grainers ditto.
You can see the pellets curving left and right , and no, I'm not pushing them too hard: 895 fps, bloody gun will NOT get them 25 grainers go any faster....

22 is under powered .. well compared to the 25. Most i can get is about 42 fpe and thats with everything maxed. It runs the most configurable at 35/36 FPE. 860 w/ 21.3 grain pellet, 800 fps w/ 25.4 grain pellet. Have the reg set to 2200. With my 25 barrel i was slinging 29 grain pellets at 850 comfortably. Only difference besides the caliber size is the port on the 22’s barrel is slight smaller. Pyramid claims 50 fpe with the JSB 25’s.. up and down the reg range and HS settings, like said most i got was 42 and the gun was louder and it Was eating through air. Might try and open the port a little on the 22 barrel.
Hey, Noor. I got an Avenge X .25 Tactical last November, and I've been happy with it. I agree the reg should be around 2500, and I haven't adjusted it at all. Have you been watching the pressure gauge for it?
Yes indeed! I keep the pressure topped pretty well :).
What pellets were you shooting? 18 grains?
What distance were you shooting at?
Did you clean the barrel before you shot it?
Negative :); I wanted out of the box accuracy.

I don’t believe so, but I haven’t tried.
I didn't think the standard 1-18 barrel was supposed to be suitable for slugs due to slow twist. Have the .22 tactical tube version and just got the saber chassis and haven't even tried slugs yet. Guess that's next!
I spoke with Zan, and he indicated that his older model slugs don’t work well but the new ones do. He’s sending me some of the new ones to test and see how they perform; I will put a video out showing them as soon as I can :).

Just wondering, did you zero left handed then shoot right handed for filming? That would explain poi shift
No in this case I zeroed and shot right handed, but I will admit that the scope I was using wasn’t the best in terms of this review. I was struggling with its parallax quite a bit.
@@TheDollarSportsman but it was only 35 yard's yeah ?TBH no need for a 1000 dollar scope?dont get me wrong i have a 200 euro scope and i have the same problem but when you find it ?then i shoot whole in whole when i take my time ..at 35 yard's
What size slugs were you using?
This was all pellets; I’m still working on slug tests :).
I was trying to figure out the energy output at 900 fps for the slugs.

i never see this gun in high end competition..i wish some1 had the balls to do it 😀 But for me a rat hunter ,plinking.ore how you say it ,and trash up can's etc etc it is very good in my opinion ..goed clip man keep them coming.P.S when i talk to people high end competition .and say try this gun ow boy they did ..

I saw a guy with a custom stock he created for the original avenger, and he brought it to one of the big competitions :). It was amazing.
