Your version of Veronica strikes me as very mature. Quite calm, in an angry sort of way. It feels like you're scolding a small child. Makes me think that your Veronica is expecting JD to make the right choice, instead of begging him too. It's a take I wouldn't've thought of, but definitely interesting. x

To be honest I was skeptical on you being veronica only on how you are as a person. Good, kind, whimsical. So being veronica felt like the opposite of you. I know you're acting but it just so felt off. After hearing this I'm 100% sold. You're gonna rock it!!!

CrankyPants I personally feel it is a lot more fun, and also I find playing a character the complete opposite of yourself, even though it is difficult, is somewhat easy in a way also because you can completely detach from being your usual self and be a whole new person, if that makes sense?
I totally wasn't expecting it, but as soon as you sang the first 'seventeen', tears were immediately brought to my eyes. as a 17 year old girl who has loved heathers for years, it just struck a chord with me. thank you Carrie, this was beautiful.

Call me Your Dai5y I am sorry but I have to disagree with you. This isn’t a performance, It’s not onstage so the atmosphere and environment is completely different. You’re allowed to disagree with me thats fine that’s your opinion, but I can’t help but think its slightly rude to comment this on her video knowing all the hard work thats going on behind the scenes and the fact she might see it. Isn’t it just better to keep it to yourself a bit? X
I'll have to disagree as well. You're free to have your own opinion however I feel it's quite rude to comment on her own video, knowing she will most likely see it and knowing all the hard work that is going into this show to make it amazing for the audience. The directors/producers etc know what they are doing and they wouldn't cast Carrie if she wasn't right for the role. She was cast for a reason and I know she is going to smash this role just like every other part she has played. I think negativity shouldn't be spread on any form of social media and it should just be kept to yourself.
Also can I add.. if you dislike someone’s acting and everything they are doing so much then why are you watching this and then continuing to comment about how you hate it? Yes have your own opinion but sometimes opinions can be hurtful and horrible.

imo, this is a whole lot better than the recording they released. for some reason carrie sounds a lot more relaxed and comfortable here. probably due to the fact she isn’t recovering from tonsillitis but you get my point lmao

With Barrett i felt like this character only fell into the dark and edgy character that JD is, just less extreme. But this performance shows me just how much of a PERSON Veronica is.
Seriously, ur Veronica was amazing. People doubted you after hearing Barrett’s version of her, but yours is so amazing, the way you sing! I’m a 14 year old on my grade 5 singing and have only ever had small roles in shows such as being Graham in “Made In Dagenham” in Stratford upon Avon, an ancestor in “the Addams family” etc. But you’re one of my biggest inspirations for keeping with it, even if I don’t get noticed much. I know I’m rambling a bit now, but I just want to say thank you for everything. 🙏🙏💕💕💕💕

I’ve seen a few of the negative comments on here and I think these people must be watching something else, or they’ve already made their minds up to be as negative as possible (nice!).
