Does cognitive AI suffer from cognitive dissonance? 'In our minds attention seems to be part of a top down mechanism that actively attempts to create a coherent dynamic model of reality'. So does this not happen with a machine system of analysing reality? Or does human intelligence and consciousness encompass more than what is defined above? Does cognitive dissonance not show that humans have an innate need to live a reality that parallels a higher standard than worldly reality? And if so, does this not reveal that humans are connected to, and know they are returning to, a higher, unending and unwavering, consciousness? But we knew that already. Well, at least I do.
