How I wish Trace was a vector app. It’s the one thing preventing it from being all things to all us architectural types. The one thing holding it back. Bitmaps are a nightmare to post-adjust, especially if you’re not 100% efficient [and who is?] with layers. We spend our lives using vector based programs [unless you’re the office Part 1 tasked with using PS] so jumping back into bitmaps is endlessly frustrating.
When drawing architecture, I was thinking that a useful feature would be a ruler that allows us to draw arcs in perspective (such as the archways in old buildings). I would love a quick & mostly automatic way to draw arcs in perspective. Also, I'd be helpful if there was a guide to assist with drawing them equidistant from each other, with perspective taken into consideration. The circle tool helps with drawing arcs but this method is pretty slow and can be difficult to work with. I wish there was an easier & quicker way to draw arcs in perspective.
The smart fill works for me before but now somehow it fills the whole page. I’ve adjusted all the capacity but still it doesn’t work, anyone came across this problem too?

how to you change the size of text after you've added it. I see how you use the pinch gesture to initially change it but can't figure out how to change it after that point, once you've added the text in
@@morpholio i think i'm experiencing the same thing - after drawing a box, i can't fill the area inside the box nor get the area inside the box. Instead, the active screen gets filled & the area of the active screen is shown.

In the layer settings, just hit "Place and Scale" to resize it!

Same problem. Did you solve it?
Your tolerance may be set to quite a high percentage. Drop it down to closer to zero and the adjust to suit.
