In this video you will learn some quick and easy tips, tricks and methods on how to import images including PNG files with no background, resize, mirror, adjust blending modes for images, erase and draw on top of images, skew, distort, and transform images for perspective drawings, and use Apple lift to copy and paste images into your drawing. The Image Editing Tools in Trace were designed with architects, interior designers, landscape designers, and industrial designers in mind. They are perfect for rendered plans, sections, elevations, and perspectives, drawing collages, illustration collages, and much more. This video was made using Trace Version 6.4.

Superb stuff - and was really hoping for this feature. Not sure if you can recommend an image generator but that would be useful. Also, I find the lift function a little touchy with some things. Nonetheless an excellent feature, and well-taught Cheers

Thanks Dan! We used midjourney to generate all the images and textures you see in these collages. It took some time to get exactly what we wanted but it did work! Agreed that lift sometimes needs some cleanup - which you can now do in Trace with your erase and selection tools as needed. Hopefully Apple keeps improving this technology!
