The Noe and Neo Noe are on my wish list. I love that the bag was originally designed to hold champagne bottles. Great video and tips, and thanks for the Etsy recs. It is good to know a place where one can get extra straps that are quality but not a the LV price.
Had to do it... who doesn't love a durable black bag and even from the 90s I know this bag is tough. Got my unicorn tonight after watching your creative and awesome video two weeks ago. I have an original monogram Noe from high school... so- The new Noe is from the year I graduated college- and younger. Can't wait to get her and add the additions suggested. I took your advice and found antique brass snap hooks for my monogram Noe handles on Etsy. It was from a shop called the Buckleguy. The set I ordered has more of an oval shape that better supports the strap( prevents the bending of my strap that occurs with the round hoops). I purchased thee short strap from LV last month. The snaps make it so much easier to interchange my straps, as you mentioned. Thank you so much for this video. I love my vintage Noe even more now!

I bought the same smaller strap and I agree on its convinence. I also sometimes carry it with that strap and it feels like an open top speedy to me.

I have a vintage Louis Vuitton/ French Company Noe PM and the French Company applied a slide to the cinching straps of the Noes they made. Louis Vuitton has been making the Noe for about 80 years and they have never thought to apply a slide. I have a Tan Michael Kors Saffiano purse strap that I will attach to my Noe in case I decide to wear it one day (I also have a Dolce & Gabbana strap, but it's shorter than the MK strap and I don't like the way the Noe looks with the D&G strap). I like it when it hangs as a crossbody.

Thank you for the video. I almost bought a Noe the other day, but then I reminded myself that my record with drawstring bags is problematic, to say the least. I have - more than once! - somehow managed to turn them upside down and everything has fallen out, usually when I seem to be walking up or down a hill, so my goods go everywhere! I still might buy a Noe, but I if I do, I shall keep my stuff in a calico bag inside it!

Hejsa Autumn. I have the short Metis Hobo strap on mine, it is an Idea from Tiffany from louisvuittoncoffeelver.The strap is mush lighter, but it is ok. My Noe is an old vintage.Some time I use my Speedy Bandouliere strap on it.

I buy them from hardware stores. They come in lots of different sizes so I recommend taking the strap with you so you can find the correct one.
Hi Autumn! Could you tell me if the epi petit noe leather softens up after use? I’m debating between the mono and the epi but I want it to be less structured so I’m not sure if I should just get the mono even though I love the epi in gold :) thanks!
