Hey! I’m looking to start my first quilt... I’m new at sewing! I’ve been bingeing your videos and have already learned so much!! One question.. does the 2.5 yards for Background and Binding mean 2.5 yards of fabric for each or is it for both? Im not sure if you’re matching the binding fabric to the background fabric so am wondering if the 2.5 backing yardage includes enough to make the binding as well. Thank you so much!

Do your beginner quilt kits for this series have just the fabric or are other things included?
The beginner kits include the fabric for the quilt top and binding.
Do you wash and starch before cutting?
We do not wash or starch before cutting the fabric, we cut right off the bolt!
