    Very interesting, thanks. One question- if I starched my fabric when piecing do I need to wash that out soon afterwards to stop any deterioration of the fabric. In other words is the spray starch damaging over time?

      Spray starch can reduce the lifespan of your fabric. I typically use a spray starch alternative like Mary Ellen’s
      Best Press, or just use water in an aerosol spray bottle. That works really well for me.
