    谁 shéi ▸ q.pron. who
    想 xiǎng ▸ v. to want to
    要 yào ▸ m.v. to want to have; to intent to have
    明天见 míngtiān jiàn ▸ see (you) tomorrow
    饿 è ▸ adj. hungry
    超市 chāoshì ▸ n. supermarket
    汉字 Hànzì ▸ n. Chinese character
    呢 ne ▸ p. used at the end of the sentence to ask a contextual question
    狗 gǒu ▸ n. dog
    猫 māo ▸ n. cat
    不 bù ▸ adv. not
    听 tīng ▸ v. to listen; to listen to
    走 zǒu ▸ v. to leave
    手机 shǒujī ▸ n. cellphone; mobile phone
    上课 shàngkè ▸ v. (for students) to attend class; (for teachers) to give class
    大 dà ▸ adj. big; giant; huge
    小 xiǎo ▸ adj. small; little
    电话 diànhuà ▸ n. phone; phone call
    同事 tóngshì ▸ n. coworker; colleague
    同学 tóngxué ▸ n. classmate; schoolmate

    Nǐ zuì xǐhuan de gēshǒu shì shéi?

    Who is your favorite singer?
    Gāngcái shì shéi dǎ de diànhuà?
    刚才是谁打的电话?
    Who was (it that) made (the) phone-call?
    (2) 想 xiǎng ▸ v. to want to
    Wǒ hěn xiǎng xué Zhōngwén.
    我很想学中文。
    I want to learn Chinese very much.
    Wǒ xiànzài hái bù xiǎng huàn gōngzuò.
    我现在还不想换工作。
    Now I (do) not want to change (my) job yet.

      Haha! Yeah, shuí is not as common. Personally I prefer shéi as well!
