Wrong side of the tracks is nothing compared to the Zero missions. People who say that mission is hard clearly haven't even played through half of the game.

I don’t understand why everyone says “Wrong side of the tracks” is hard i swear i could do it without failing once. The real hard missions are Zero’s missions. The second one and the last one were so annoying.

but i could also do those without failing once. but the last one takes me one trial to figure out the controls and then it's easy, you just don't care for the bandit and kill as much tanks as you can quickly before clearing the way for it.

I first bought GTA San Andreas in January 2012, 7 years + 3 months after it released. At the time, I was a 13 year old that thought "October 2004 was so long ago! This is an old game."
A few days from now, it will be 6 years + 7 months after I first bought GTA: SA. I find it very hard to believe that in 8 months, the amount of time I owned the game for will be the same amount of time the game had been out when I first bought it. Time REALLY flies once you become a teen!

When I had my PlayStation 2 my family didn’t have the money for a save card so me and brother would play this gta serval time and we made a challenge to see who could get the farthest in the story before dying and then the other would continue off there and then when we turned off the game we would lose all of our progress and when we got bored we messed with cheat codes I still have the node book we make with all the cheat codes
This was actually the case for a lot of people i see. I played on a pc but I didn't understand English very well back then so i couldn't progress any further than a few missions
I left my ps2 on for some days so I wouldn't loose my progress lol I definitely had a notebook full of cheats. Man those were the days smh

Perfect game. Start to finish & everything in between. It's literally iconic.
Imagine it's night on this game and your in the middle of the desert exploring and all of a sudden you see 6 body bags
wrong side of the tracks was hard when we all played it for the first time, by this point of the game, we're already used to the high speed car chases and we were pretty much in control of the shooting. then this mission came around and we're supposed to maintain a distance, not outrace the train, this threw most people off guard. i remember being so frustrated i whipped out the cheats sheet i wrote down, used a jetpack to get on the train to kill the bastards off, only to fail the mission because big smoke's fatass was having a fit for being left alone.
For being left alone? Last time I checked there was only a message that you left him behind, but no failure.

Since most textures of buildings and shops in san andreas are just pictures taken of random shops in LA, they tried to erase all brands from the pictures to avoid lawsuits, but failed, on some windows of shops and textures you can see newport cigarette ads, califlrnia lotto ads, even a clear walgreens building with the logo clearly showing in the burger shot window that og loc worked in. If you look closely at the chips vending machine you can still identify the brands of the chips despite rockstar trying to blur them out.

18:27 This is due to the AI's very simplistic pathing. The NPCs are programmed to follow sidewalks, like a car on a track. When they find themselves off of these paths they are basically blind. They just walk blindly in one direction until they find a sidewalk or until an obstacle kills them like a body of water. The photographer is spawned in a place there is no sidewalk anywhere near them, so they revert to just blindly walking forward like all other NPCS do and go straight into the river and kill themselves.
28:35 This again is due to the AI's simplistic spawning and pathing. In some areas of Las Venturas some of the sidewalk pathing was accidentally placed slightly under some of the buildings. Since the AI is also programmed to spawn on these sidewalks and due to the fact that buildings are covering some areas of the sidewalk, the AI spawns on the top of these buildings instead. They then proceed to follow the sidewalk pathing like normal and walk right off these buildings to do so, killing themselves. When you go to these areas you will see that large parts of the sidewalk is enveloped by the building the NPCs are killing themselves on.
Used to love coop with jetpacks. The chaos as the screen tries to follow both players was so fun.

I have my own fact that I discovered recently, after 20 years of playing.
Mary Beth (K-Rose DJ), right before “I Love A Rainy Night” comes on the radio, she says something along the lines of, “This song reminds me of a little truck stop off of 70 in Columbia Missouri”.
That truck stop is a real place, and is called “Midway Auto Plaza”. My mom worked there, and I spent many hours playing “Silent Scope” in the arcade. It was featured in a reality show on the “Travel Channel” shortly after she quit working there.

When they make GTA 6, I think it should be a game where you can go in all maps- like vice city, liberty city, and San Andreas. As the story progresses through them all. (Something along these lines)
That's funny you mentioned that. About 2 years ago, I theorized that GTA 6 would take place in and between Liberty City and Vice City. I almost expect this to be completely true since the sea floor in GTA V is about as detailed as where the majority of the game takes place. It definitely would be pretty cool to see Rockstar go in this direction and emphasize a bit more on naval combat. I'd also like for Rockstar to include parts of the Carribean to sprawl around, similar to the way it was done in the San Andreas desert.
I would just prefer that they put all their work into a new Vice City. Like imagine driving around at night with all those beautiful lights.
As a native Houstonian, I'd love GTA 6 be set somewhere in Tejas.

@O.J. Simpson I'm German and I know that we're very sensitive about our past but when it comes to like satire shows or just joking around in general, Nazi jokes or something like that are actually pretty common.
But yeah using Nazi symbols and stuff like that is illegal.
And yes the sensitivity about violence might have something to do with that. But I mean it's also cultural differences between the USA and Germany (and European countries in general). I mean many Americans love their guns and see it as a basic right to own guns. Also I'm pretty sure that there are way more people in the US who don't trust law enforcement.
So if Americans are way cooler with guns in real life than Germans are, it makes sense that they're also way cooler with it in video games

An explanation to the ghost graffiti phenomenon: There're many 2D elements around the map in San Andreas (and other GTA games) that only appear at night, such as small yellow rectangles that pass off as lit windows in buildings or houses. Again, these textures or objects are coded only to appear at night, and disappear during the day. It is very likely that Rockstar accidentally added this attribute to the graffiti, causing it to dissappear during the day. As for the 666 thing, it seems pretty farfetched.
Also, in 26:07, the mass grave with body bags is seen in The Introduction, a video that was included with some editions of GTA:SA and you can even watch in CZcams. Any San Andreas fan should definitely watch it, as it takes place before the events of the game and clears up a lot of plot points in the game.
