#QOTV I purchase my envelopes from a store and only make an envelope for a very special card I've made for someone special. I very much appreciate your add on cutting instruction sheet. I have not been very enthusiastic about making the mini slimline size card in the past but your July mini has changed my mind! I love it! Thank you.

When using the hole punch, if you take the cover that catches the ‘hole’ off you can then turn over the punch and you can clearly see where or how much of the punch you want to use. You do have a bit more clean up as the hole can end up everywhere but you can get a consistent punch.

This is great. I prefer to use up as much paper as possible once I cut into it. #QOTV I use envelopes I buy in bulk almost all of the time but I do have a small envelope punch board for odd sizes. It’s a great way to use up less-pretty paper, especially single sided - I just leave the white side facing out most of the time.

#QOTV. Love that we can double the quantity! I LOVE those stamps! I will need to check my HL to see if they have them! I love that technique too with the versamark! I've had this problem before with a stamp set I have, and now I know how to fix it! Thanks for that tip!
YAY, you used my question! To answer it, I buy the store bought at HL when Paper Studio has their 50% off sale. It's easier especially when mass producing cards. I donate cards frequently, and it's so much faster having the all ready made envelopes when I pack them up. I also have the envelope punch board, and have only used it a few times to make envelopes. My cricut can also make them. It's the extra time of assembling, which I don't always have. Thanks for sharing Alicia!

#QOTV I use store bought envelopes for standard sized cards, but I make my own envelopes for 6x6, 5x7 etc sized cards

Good tip about the squishy stamps, lol. Question I have, I tried using distress ink and it seems to bleed around the edges, any suggestions?

Distress ink isn’t designed for crisp stamping - it’s intended for “distressed” looks. Oxides are better, but they’re still not intended for really crisp clean stamping.

@@olivemaycards thank you! I’m new to those stamps, I bought the little ones. Guess I can use them as water colors.

@@ingrid2543 yes, there are lots of wonderful techniques you can do with them including watercoloring and ink smooshing. If you watch some Tim Holtz demos you'll get lots of ideas :)
