Don't *ever* listen to someone saying that long distance can't work, over *50%* of these kind of relationships can workout, its all about trust and communication.
I agree. The main point it was trying to make is to keep each other updated as to what’s going on in your lives - so even though they’re miles away, they still feel like they’re part of your every day life. Trust is 100% key, too. Without trust, an LDR will really struggle. :)

I fly out to Ohio to be with Pedro on Feb 12! 28 days down 10 to go. I think an important thing in my relationship like you mentioned kind of is that we still have date night even when we are states apart. We watch the same movie at the same exact time. We also order the same type of food (mainly pizza) We don’t video chat but we are on the phone hours a day. Sometime we don’t even talk for half of it but we are just living our lives but because he’s on the phone I can still call out to him like he’s in the next room. To me it’s always important to have that next date planned. I need that so I have something to look forward to. We unexpectedly lost one of his dogs a couple weeks ago and we are worried about leaving the other one alone so me might have to miss our March visit. It will be hard because we won’t know when we will see each other again after my February visit. The important thing to remember is that we WILL see each other. Over two years and still going strong.

We’re long distance anyway with us living opposite ends of England, but we see each other every weekend or every fortnight at least and travel back and forth to each other and we’re so used to it we don’t even consider it a thing anymore. BUT and we had a period of 6 months EXTRA long distance with him working out in China while I stayed in London. As Western social media is not easy to access there, we really really had to work hard just to even stay in contact. But we had weekly video calls over WeChat and made sure to sync our laptops to together to watch the Great British Bake Off. Hi, me and my fiancé (Austin) have been together since 18/2/19 so almost a year ago. Austin lives in California, CA and I live near London in the U.K. were 5300 miles apart. I can’t currently go to the US due to a situation that occurred in August with customs meaning I can’t go back until I can get a non immigrant visa (fiancé, marriage, work, student, etc) so it’s pretty hard being that he’s the only one that can come here so we can only see eachother every 3 ish months. Austin is coming here in a little over 2 weeks and I’m so excited, but after this trip we don’t know when we’ll see eachother again due to work etc. We got engaged in October when we went to Paris and he proposed in front of the Eiffel Tower 🥺🥺 (we have a video up on it). Dude, I deal with the same situation and even though you can't talk to her, still send her something to let her know you are thinking about her, even if it is just a "good night I love you" text. Etc. There’s loads of things - but the legitimate things just take time to build up, hence why people either don’t want to do it or say it’s a scam :)

My boyfriend and I live 2,000 miles apart. We have been together for 4 years. We only get to visit each other for 2 weeks each year. I am running out of date ideas, money being the biggest factor. I am 668 miles away from my boyfriend and we are both in school and it is hard for us to not get to see each other.
