I'm thinking the fire code inspector at Gilley's was paid off....lol. I spent half of my childhood in Texas, in the 80's, listening to my parents country record. Mickey was always one of my favorites.
He probably was by Sherwood Cryer. I used to go to Gilley's as a child during the day, the only time kids could go. Sherwood was mad b/c Gilley was getting all the attention & he wanted more money. He burned that building down for the insurance. Still makes me mad! Even more upset that Deer Park approved the new Gilley's and they haven't broken ground after almost 4 years! Miss the simple days of youth.
@@jettblac12 Are you sure this was filmed at Gilleys, it looks like it was filmed at the Cheyenne Saloon and dancehall in Orlando Florida. Im 99% sure based on the interior.
