@@ijoltzi5569 it isn't arrogant if it's true, I know there are obviously none shonan based games but most anime games are shonan based and are usually extremely shallow or are you surprised the easiest genre to make game for is the one that has tons of fights?

I picked this up and when I was in the game shop and wondered what it was. I had never heard of the manga or anything about it. I looked at it and thought it might be a generic or even just a cheap game. But now I’ve checked it out a bit more and looked into to I’m going to get it.
1. The game is basically the anime but you can explore the desert 2. Best example is the game (Kakarot) Follows the anime story line to the T. But you can explore the world of DBZ Same with sand land 3. I recommend getting the game if you like the Demo and the show It’s best for people who want to explore the world of sand land
Tried the demo, but demos are demos and…. Let’s face it, they don’t tell the bigger picture. Seems pretty fun, but I hear it’s pretty short and for $60 .. might be a wait till after I clear out some of my backlog first.
I'm like 20 hours in, and feel like there's at least 40 more to go. The only gripes I have are not being able to remap all the controls. Like the vehicle change button can't be changed from the d-pad right. And the banter repeats every few seconds. Yes... the desert gets cold at night. Your party will go through the same dialogue segment every couple of minutes for as long as you're in the area. Fight an enemy, and it repeats as soon as battle is over. Then something interrupts it, and so it restarts... again and again and again and.....
Igns and gamespots reviews make no sense. They say more positives than negatives and feels like they criticized it for not being anything revolutionary with its gameplay like it was marketed to be that way when it wasn’t. Idk the content of their reviews and the praise they gave it just didn’t match the score. Honestly as much as I love the game I’d like to give it a 10/10 but trying to be unbiased I feel 8-9 to fair. Closer to a 9 the more I play but that’s cause I’m loving the characters and story.
IGN, by the numbers open world, 6/10, same IGN with RDR2, which has even less content than a by the books open world game, because of streamlining, 10/10💀.
I will say the demo does a terrible job at showing the game off all you cam do is run around and fight random enemies you don't even get items so you're not likely to get far unless you avoid combat
Honestly, game is pretty boring. Feels like im playing those shovel ware games back in the day that paired with any movie or anime. And tbh thats kinda what this is. Respect to akira, the world is cool, he didnt really have hand in the gameplay I think but this is kinda lame.
This game is garbage 🗑️ people are only praising it cause the creator died it’s not a good game what so ever it’s just as lazy as the dragon quest that dropped last year
75 is absolutely good. People expect every game to be 9s and 10s; and not every game needs to be perfect, those aren't realistic expectations. Twenty and thirty years ago, a game getting a perfect score, hell even a 90/100, was like one or two games a year. The majority of games were getting 70s and the better ones were getting 80s; but it didn't mean those games weren't enjoyable and a blast to play.
lol who is taking IGN as a reference?
Nobody but themselves
Played about 6 hours, it a amazing and a great success for an amazing creator, rest in peace Akira Toriyama
Ign gave sand land to someone who wasn't an anime fan, and that's why it got a 6 out of 10.
To much sand. *ign probably*
best anime game is not a high feat lol
You wouldn’t be saying if you actually played good ones
@@ijoltzi5569there aren't many, most are copy paste arena fighter shonan based games
@@TheEchoShark thats just a very arrogant statement to make, maybe expand your horizons to non Shonan fighting games

Some of the mobile suit gundam games were awesome
I love this game!! The atmosphere is so nice and the characters are dope and well written ❤
Ign doesnt count though, no one cares what they have to say.
I played it for couple of hours and theh game was fine. Gameplay was like im the episodes while there is also exploration.
IGN praised the game for the whole review then gave it a 6. Meanwhile they list all the problems with the newest madden then say "its being worked on" and give an 8
Akira Toriyama is dead, and yet his property is beloved by all. Really glad I made that purchase.
Dragonball FighterZ is still the highest reviewed anime based game (FACT).
garbage lol

Fighterz was so baddddd
@@richardshermNo tf it wasn't. It was legit a breath of fresh air for Dbz and anime fighters as a whole

so hectic about getting it from the scores but looks promising, very interested and would be my first typa anime game gonna try the demo tho

Metacritic user scores to me feel biased. I'd subtract one point from it to get the proper score.
On ps5 its free
IGN is crazy ignorant for that low score the game is fantastic.
Can you call it anime based when it was released before the anime? Manga based then.
For sure

The demo was garbage.
We said that about your mum's demo
@@silence9791why would their mum have a demo when the full version is free?
I’d rather watch the anime. The open world feels so empty from the videos I’ve seen. Combat outside vehicles seem bland.
Twenty six *

After playing the actually game for about 8 hrs so far I agree the demo gave a good look at the world and basics of combat but not much else.
Can't wait to play it, preordered months ago
Did you play already and what are your thoughts didn't get much from the demo
I started playing last night. It's a chill and fun game, definitely recommend if you're a dragon ball fan.
There’s two version one that cost 59.99 and 69.99 which is there a clear difference?
I had preordered the 59.99 I think you get extra skins for the other one, not sure tho
