    • @user-kl5st3su8m
      @user-kl5st3su8m Před 29 dny

I agree! I think it is possible that the finality you want has already been accomplished by them.
THROUGH THEIR OWN ABROGATION OF THEIR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES as Justices of that Court, they quit their positions when they chose egregious, shameful disregard of responsibility and duty. A Supreme Court ruling in exchange for pecuniary gain or lavish living is A MOCKERY OF EVERYTHING THAT COURT STANDS FOR ... picture Lady Justice blindfolded or the Scales of Justice .... said the Drama Queen who is mad.
They knowingly elected a long term pattern of corruption in performance of their duties after the 20 year old letter Thomas wrote seeking more compensation. It did not come via approved avenues, but it came, unlawfully and unethically when they knowingly elected a pattern of secret "quid pro quo" exchanges of rulings for financial, political, religious and other benefit to themselves as the receivers of favorable rulings purchased those rulings and all associated benefits.
The "Quittin Date" should be like an annulment void "ab initio."
Possessing the highest knowledge in the nation of the corruption of their own activity, they repeatedly chose to form these "quid pro quo" relationships for exchanges of favorable rulings (some giving later financial benefit to the Beneficiary of a ruling that is enormous).
These were done over a long period of time in a pattern of violations of federal statutory laws on Disclosures and of the U.S. Tax Code. It continued until revealed now and the worst offenders react like kids with Oppositional Defiance Disorder. Thomas has a facial expression that infuriates me-at once, it shows disdain and, as a girl in 11th Grade said of a boy, his expression is also very SNEAVIOUS.
The illegal gains to them may be incalculable.
So, if they get by after they receive some BS, Trumpesque protection, like Absolute Justicial Immunity for Too Many Fishing Trips, there is possibly another way.
Their basic licenses to practice law will likely be attached to more formidable Professional Responsibility Standards of Ethics than they have ever seen. I recently read Bar Association disbarment or license suspension cases in my licensing state, some were suspended for years, others entirely disbarred.
They were done for these very types of pervasive, repeated patterns of unlawful or unethical conduct ... which they continued to do until caught. Bar Disciplinary Boards can be very harsh on these things.
Grrrrrr. I get so mad! I really am going outside to howl at the moon now. Wooh, wooh, woooo!

"I trust you, do us a Pride. Get it? Pride. You get it right?"
      AND THEN! (pro-discrimination laws) + (Dobbs) + (Anti-T Laws/anti-indoctrination) = Banning Religion.
Dobbs made it clear, the Government can indeed violate your Rights if it has an interest in doing so, that interest is SPECIFICALLY in its role as the Parent. A mothers right to make medical decision for her kids, even ones that terminate life, are perfectly legal... as the Constitution is also clear... not all killings are murder. Constitution is fine with killing anyone.
How we use the Anti-Indoctrination. It is a persons Right to believe what they want. Sure. So? Have all the personal relationship with Republican Jesus all you want. BUT! Just like you can not teach kids what the T is, or sex in general.... you shall no longer indoctrinate them into Organized Religion. That way, they can make those choices when they are adults, and can decide for themselves. Why yes I can indeed violate your Rights, because as the Government, if the decision is important enough to us, we can take that Right from you and choose for us all. You teach your kid about the church, you bring the kid to a gathering, any association with anything remotely or tangentially or inadvertently Religious and your in trouble! I, The Government am the Parent now.... Just Like You Wanted Me To Be.

As the Parent, Religion is a tool for reinforce ignorance and hate, so in order to ensure kids can make the choice if they want to do this to themselves, they need to be raised without it.
and once Religion has died.... we all throw a party for LGBT for doing Society a solid... by letting us kill Republican Jesus once and for all.

I've been a graphic designer for over 30 years, and I can guarantee you that NO ONE hires a designer out of the blue. Either they've been referred, seen your advertising, seen something that you've designed and have somehow gotten the contact information (designers and front end developers don't typically sign their work), or otherwise know you. A freelance graphic designer has to scrabble, hustle, fight, claw, and otherwise bust their back for every single client, regardless of your experience and quality of your portfolio. If a design position is advertised, firms receive upwards of 100 applications... PER DAY. Yet somehow, this client just falls out of the clear blue sky wanting to hire THIS TOTAL UNKNOWN? Someone who just happens to believe that gay people don't have a right to exist? And not just design any old thing, but a site commemorating the most important day of their lives?
The entire scenario not only stretches credulity past reason, but the contrivance in service to this hateful political agenda couldn't have been more obvious had it been spelled out in 30-foot tall flaming letters.
Shame on the courts in CO ever hearing this case, and shame on the Supreme Court.
EDIT: Not to mention the fact that I have turned down plenty of clients. Whether its because I've been too busy, lazy, or just didn't feel like the client was a good fit. No one can force a designer to work for them. Period. It's not like being a public defender. It isn't retail. Now if you work at an agency and you don't feel comfortable about a particular project, then you do have rights whether you do it or not. I don't recall ever refusing to work on anything, though. That said, advertising might not be the right industry for you if you're squeamish or if you have particularly high and inflexible moral standards. It would be like a vegan animal activist freely choosing to work at a slaughterhouse. But hey, known plenty of designers that worked for World Vision. There are always options.

Quite simply, the court has ruled that religion has authority over civil law, thus destroying public accomodation of all kinds. It means that Justice Thomas and Justice Jackson can now be barred from eating at the local lunch counter if the white owner's religion demands whites only. Have the six reactionary justices ever wondered why this country ever came into existence? Claims of religious authority are delusions, remnants of the Dark Ages, which is where the Republican Party is leading us.
