Thanks and Great Review!... After trying several different “Top Rated” tires over the years, NOT ONE has come close to the first Michelins I tried about 8-9 years ago!... I now drive a Ford Edge Sport and following a quick chat with a Michelin rep and your review, I went for the new Primacy Tour for my 22” suv sport wheels. WOW!!! Amazingly quiet and what a SMOOTH ride!!! Michelin has definitely found the perfect compound for tires. They handle amazingly yet stay quiet and give a feel during my highway commutes of almost floating comfort while still feeling the gripping traction to the road... even during heavy rain! Will update later when the winter weather hits. Michelin Primacy Tour is worth every penny you may pay over the competition!... Almost perfection

Didja know Charles Goodyear invented (discovered) vulcanization? But, he never worked at Goodyear. They just usurped his name and used it because they could and it confused many into thinking they were part of Goodrich. A law suite ensued to no avail. And for the rest of the story: BF Goodrich is owned by Michelin today. The Goodrich Company does aerospace etc still but does not make tires. Yes, you can buy a tire with BF Goodrich on the sidewall still because Michelin bought the name.

I have 20's on my Toyota Venza, currently have Firestone Destination LE3. IMO, they get noisy above 50 mph. But the grip is amazing, rides smooth. We had a bad winter storm (like 3 or 4 blizzards), atleast foot deep snow or more. These tires plowed through the snow. Original dealer tires on my Venza were Goodyear Eagle RSA. Those were really quiet and gripped nice until around 70,000 miles. Just trying to give my best opinion for 20s. Finding the right tire is hard lol

I bought a set of Michelin Energy Saver Plus in 205 55 16 V 94 way back in 2015. They have 85,000 km and still 3.8mm left. I use them April to Nov and swap to a set of cross climates for winter. They came with 7mm tread new. So think about that. 3.2mm of wear for 85,000 km. 26,500 km per mm of wear. Over the years they got harder and feel more responsive. This year 2022 will be my 8th season on the same set of tyres. I think they have potential for well over 100,000 km. Maybe 120,000 is within reach if I take them all the way to 2mm. Car has 50 / 50 weight distribution and 4wd so no need to rotate them. BMW turbo with 240 hp. I live in the countryside, 50% of my driving is 30 to 50 mph and the rest is highway at 80 to 140mph. I got 65,000 out of my Uniroyals without even one issue. Good riding, quiet and excellent MPG. No Michelin tire out there would come close. The Michelin Primacy Tour AS are currently on an SUV I just bought. Hard riding and very noisy tires. Hard to hear the radio an 70mph. Will be changing them very soon.

Michelin Tour has 45 or 50,000 mile warranty and around 540 treadwear and Bridgeton Turanza Dura Track 80,000 mile warranty and 800 treadwear.

I’ve bin on Michelin’s for 20 years now and the best part about them is you can wear the tire down to nothing and it rides like a new tire. No shaking, pulling, weird shimmying. Michelin’s just lasts and keep their awesome ride until they are totally worn out. They are always quite to. I bought cars with Good Yeas on them , and now have a MDX with Continentals. The good years were the worst. Looked new and had a sideways shimmy and pulled like crazy. Had to swap them for a set of ltx’s. The conti on my MDX are not to bad but the transmit sooo much pavement noise and vibration through the steering wheel it’s actually surprising. Will change them to what you showed on this vid. Hope they have my size.
