- Sydneysiders are now abuzz about new hives springing up in corporate spaces.
This World Bee Day, beekeepers are stressing the importance of sharing our spaces with these vital insects.
Keepers are encouraging fellow bee-lovers to raise awareness, set up a beehive in their backyard, buy honey from a local keeper and plant more flowers.
Thank god for bees and vultures.

What an excellent story today ❤
About 15 years ago a swarm of bees hung out in some of my bushes. They stayed all collected for several days.
Not knowing what to do, someone urged me to just let them be. Ok.
As quickly as this swarm arrived,
they all up and left at once. Flew away.
Wild & free. These bees returned to those bushes once a year for three years. Now after this 15years, I have a hive of honey 🐝 nested inside a hole of one of my big old trees in my front yard.

They’ve stayed inside that tree all year round now for more than a decade now.
We coexist just fine.
btw: i am highly allergic to bee stings.
Not once have I been stung by anyone of this particular collective.😅
Bees around me help me and my neighbors have beautiful flowers 🌸
A dash of healthy respect is necessary.
I am fascinated by these bees.
I am thankful to have them nestled in

Sad but happy, some nature are fragile.
That's why I plant lots of wildflowers and flowering plants that bees, hummingbirds and butterflies like for pollination.
We must protect the bee's. If bee's were gone humans would only have 2 years left. So we really can't live without bees. Thank you for bringing attention to them.
